I didn't notice if it's already been mentioned, but The Misadventures of PB Winterbottom is being discounted 90% and selling for an unbelievable $.49. I haven't played it, but I know it's been nominated a few times for Indie GOTY.

And no bitching by Purge - that's cheaper than the crappiest cup of coffee you can buy.

Also, how does JC2 play on PC? I finished it on console but there was a ton of stuff left to do and I'd rather just rent/buy/trade for a used copy there.

Picked up Recettear, Bully and Railworks. 
On the fence with Spore...vanilla was so-so, but the expansion seemed to get pretty good reviews.

Also, how does JC2 play on PC? I finished it on console but there was a ton of stuff left to do and I'd rather just rent/buy/trade for a used copy there.

All the keys can be rebinded to find a scheme you like, but I found the default controls worked really well for the demo.  You can also connect a 360 controller to make it play just like console version if you prefer.  Try the demo and see what you think!  Just remember that it requires Vista or Windows 7....

As much as I loved the art style in Darksiders, the 360 version of Just Cause 2 remains the best looking game I played all year.  The PC version is even better: higher resolution textures, more particle and physics effects, and an even greater draw distance, and the engine is optimized so well that my 3+ year old system handles it really well.  I'm planning to build an all-new PC sometime in the coming month, though, and this game will definitely be one of my benchmarks.

New copies of the console version in my city are selling for $20 and I've seen the PC version for as low as that and even lower in a few cases. It seems like Steams price was artificially high in the 1st place.

That might be a Ubisoft thing.  The boxed version of Settlers 7 has been $20 - $25 for months now, while the Steam version has stubbornly remained at $50.  Even now, in the midst of their huge end-of-year sale, it's only down to $37.
