Okay the total 'Black Gaming Sale Week' haul looks like this:
Borderlands $10 Batman $10 Torchlight $5 Lara Croft $7.50 LFD2 $5 Defense Grid $2.50 Indie Pack (with Gish) $5 King's Bounty platinum pack $8.75 Just Cause 2 (thanks to GT 'buddy' system purchase) $ 7.50 World of Goo $ 2.50
Impulse: Dragon's Age Ultimate Edition $25
Looks like roughly $85.00 - there is still time left - if I go for an even $ 100 - that leaves me $ 15.00. Given what is still out there on Steam, GG, Impulse and GOG what is a must buy? Haven't heard compelling arguments for Metroid or AVP. What else before I shut her down?
Would love to hear what others hauled away this past week.

If you haven't played Peggle, pick up the two versions of Peggle on Steam for $15. If you have an XBox, go try the demo from the Arcade.
My Damage:
Alpha Protocol $7.50 Defense Grid: The Awakening $2.50 Indie Pulse Pack (Doubled purchase of Audiosurf: out $2.50) $4.99 Wings of Prey $14.99 Supreme Commander 2 $3.75 King's Bounty: Collection $8.75 Galcon Fusion $2.50 Patrician IV $10.00 World of Goo $2.50 Mount and Blade: Warband $7.50 The Ball $9.99 Indie Puzzle Pack $4.99 Peggle Complete Pack $14.99 Indie Air Pack $4.99
Total damage: $79.95. I was actually expecting it to be about $20 higher, but of course, I still haven't decided on the Lead and Gold pack.

Just played a demo of Peggle for the first time! Pretty fun! I will be purchasing Peggle, along with Peggle Nights most likely, as well as todays Indie Pack. Was thinking about AVP and Metro 2033 but I dunno?

I actually showed great restraint this time around. Only ended up with:
- Indie Story Pack: $5 - Left 4 Dead 2: $5 - Tropico 3: $7.50

I'd be in on the trine pack. I won't be able to check back until tomorrow evening, but if you get a crew consider me committed

I'd say AvP and Dirt 2 are worth it at that price. Caveat: I've only played a bit of Dirt 2 (mainly to check out the graphics) so it could potentially take a nosedive, plus what else can you do for 5 bucks nowadays?
A little late with the response, but Dirt 2 is a great game if you can get past the "Americanized" facade. I didn't give the game much of a chance right away because of that, but once I learned to ignore it I really got a ton of enjoyment out of the game, and still go back to it now and again.

From Steam, I didn't get too much:
Monkey Island 2 SE: $2.50 Machinarium: $5 Indie Story Pack: $5
But, with Gamersgate:
Syberia $4 Syberia 2 $4 Still Life $4
Amazon:
Infamous $10 Mass Effect 2 $10 Left for Dead 2 $10 Batman AA $15
Wal-Mart
God of War Collection $10 Ratchet and Clank Future $10 Ratchet and Clank Future: ACiT $10
...that's $99.50, or about the cost of 1.5 new releases for 18 games!

Steam didn't really have a lot to tempt me this year. I picked up Lara Croft Guardian of Light, Dirt 2, Torchlight, Batman Arkham, SupCom2,..
think thats all.

I'm 100% certain that the Christmas sale will blow away the Thanksgiving sale as it did last year. Therefore I tried to show great restraint. I used to refuse to buy any Steam games for more than $10. After amassing a huge backlog, my rule is now no game for more than $5.
Monkey Island 2 Special Edition: LeChuck's Revenge $2.50 Indie Puzzle Pack $4.99 Indie Clever Pack $4.99

I kept it to just the King's Bounty collection and AvP. I figured those prices wouldn't be dropping much, even at Xmas.

hard to pass up the air pack but i already have two of the 5 and the other 3 are not exactly screaming buy to me.
ended up with this:
Indie Puzzle Pack - $5 Indie Pulse Pack - $5 Indie Clever Pack - $5 Indie Story Pack - $5 Left 4 Dead 2 - 6-Pack - $25 Indie Energy Pack - $5 Alpha Protocol - $7.50
so 57.50 for 26 (minus 5 i already had on steam or elsewhere) games plus 6 gifts.
not bad and nothing compared to last year's xmas sale. i expect that to be murderous on my wallet.

Dirt 2 is excellent and well worth it.

Believe it or not I somehow managed to actually lose my copy of KOTOR, so I jumped at the chance to pick it up for £1.75. That was a pleasant surprise.

Good feedback and comments on the Black Friday week 'haul'. Based on comments I nixed AvP and Metroid but was convinced to give Dirt 2 a go - anyone have any comments about the Indie Air pack?
It will be very interesting to see to what degree the Christmas sale undercuts Black Friday.
