damn, i think i will end up with most of those packs even though i already have a handful of the individual titles.  too bad you can't gift the surplus.

yeah, if the info is right I'll get the Puzzle and Pulse packs just for one game each (as long as the price is 5 bucks) and the Clever pack.  you'd think that since this is the Give and Get sale they'd let you gift extras.

I played the 360 version of Batman about 1/3 the way through and then dropped it. I can't recall why. Anyone played the PC version think this is a compelling pickup at $10?

if you have an nvidia card and can set the PhysX settings to a decent level there is a lot more atmosphere in the PC version.

One of these days I'm gonna pick up LFD2, but I've just not pulled the trigger on it.  These Steam sales are tempting...why does Steam hate my wallet?

And.... Alpha Protocol is the only game that ISN'T available to my region!  Thank goodness-another time that region restrictions have kept money in my pocket.

we could have gifted it to you...

Then I would have lost the right to complain! smile  Thanks but in the end I decided that I'll keep my money in my pocket for now.

Well, I'd been thinking of doing that and giving them away to my fellow forum members, but if I do, I'll make sure you don't get one. Tongue

Anyone have an opinion about Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days? $5 seems like a good price if the game is pretty cool.

I tried the demo and the camera almost made me sick, but for 5 bucks I'm going to take the chance it was just a fluke.  here's a video of the demo gameplay to see how the camera works.  it's supposed to simulate someone following with a hand held video camera.

Good to know as I often get motion sickness trying to play FPS. The YouTube video wasn't so bad, but I can see how those herky jerky camera movements might be a problem on a full screen.

Is Eve Online worth playing now?  I played it years ago when it was released and didn't care for it then...  Since it's $5 for the next 2.5 hours, I was wondering if I should buy it?

if it was the learning curve that got to you I believe that's still there.  I bought EVE for 5 bucks during one of their big sales (might have been their last Holiday one) and still haven't installed it.

Same here, been eying it for awhile.  I will get it during the Christmas sale I'm sure.  Hopefully some Gt'ers will still be playing.  The Walking Dead show has got me in full blown zombie mode.

Unless something has changed, that actually is a valid description of Blur, although leaving out the powerups seems weird.  They do use licensed vehicles and real-world locations, so it's the perfect baby of Project Gotham and Mario Kart!  biggrin

Ceekay- thanks for keeping up completely up to date on the latest deals.

Torchlight was fun and definitely worth $5. I am on the fence on DOW - but great bargain.

A reminder - I still have HL2 and an HL2 Episode 1 gifts (unused).
