I tried the demo and promptly deleted it.  It was competent but not inspired.  I'm not a huge fan of scrolling shooters though.

Has anyone tried Shoot Many Robots in single-player?  I've heard conflicting opinions.  Some say it's fun, while others say it's unplayably difficult.

I like it!  It's very repetitive, but I still enjoyed it for several days!  Only reason I haven't played it lately is, haven't had the time.  But, well worth the $2.50 IMO...

Well, Steam finally agreed to give me store credit (as a "one time" customer service gesture) back in lieu of a refund or the actual price their client told me I was buying the game for. Guess I'll wait and see if anything else tickles my fancy during the sale...

all of the new Community Choice options have already been on sale for 75% off each.  I wish they'd branch out into things that haven't been offered yet.


Risen 2 is on Flash sale for 33% off.  I know I should just wait for a better deal but I'll have to see if I can resist it for the next 6 hours.

Steam did add the $24 to my Steam wallet today. I just spent $6.74 on the Thief collection. Already have them, but a lot of those CDs are pretty old, so nice to have a backup. Hopefully FONV will be cheap again later in the sale.

Also, I second the Dragon Age Origins + DLC ... having the storage chest alone makes the DLC worth it. Hell, they should have just included it with the game.

Hmmm... debating between Fallout 3: GOTY + Fallout: NV or Alan Wake + L.A. Noire

My PC laptop is a quad-core 1.6GHz with 8GB ram running Win 7, but the video card worries me on some of these games. It is a GeForce GT 320M. Anyone know if any/all these games will be ok, or not work?

Actually finally got FO:NV Ultimate for the price I thought I bought it for earlier in the week.

I actually didn't care for FO3 (well, I did like it until I got done with the first town), but I have heard this is better. $10 is the right price to try it.

Have you played the Unreal Tournament games?  Steam had them all (plus the Unreal games) for $9.99 as one of their myriad deals.  I only played the trial of Nexuiz, but from what it saw, it was a poor copy of UT.
