Maybe for From Dust, was hoping for a better deal on Saints Row the Third.

Was also hoping for a better deal for Saints Row. So I did the Green Man gaming thing and got it for $20 there and used the code to activate it on Steam.

Wish the DLC was discounted. Not sure if I should get the $20 season pass or not.

Rage has been 50% off since the start of the sale... weird.

Before the daily deal, it was only 33% off at $20.

As for Saints Row 3, you can get it from the UK THQ store for around $23, and it includes the preorder bonus and the season pass.  There are details here.

I thought it was $30 there with the code.

[edit] NM, different code than what was listed in the other thread.

Looks like it's included if you follow the link: http://send.onenetworkdirect.net/z/338669/CD152762/&lnkurl=http://store.thq.com/store/thq/en_GB/pd/Saints-Row-The-Third/productID.233244200

They talk about getting 3 different codes to enter in to Steam. They also mentioned THQ will try and charge you $6 for a DL service, but you can remove at checkout.

Jamestown - 2.49
Hard reset - 4.99
Skrim - 40.19
Borderlands - 4.99
Prototype - 7.49
Plants vs Zombies - 3.39
Tom Clancy's games all 78% off
Risen - 14.99
Blood Bowl - 7.99
Wings of Prey - 4.99
Renegade Ops - 5.09
Company of Heroes all 80% off

I'd get Skyrim in an instant if I didn't already have it on 360 and didn't have to look for a new job come Jan 2.  the first decent sale on it.

Company of Heroes and Wings of Prey are definitely 2 games on my sale radar. I'd really like to play CoH co-op, but I read that's only possible with the Tales of Valor DLC. I've also read that ToV was the weakest of all the campaigns. Has anyone here played the game with the ToV expansion and if so was how was it?

Oh and I believe the above listed dicsount for the Tom Clancy games should be 75%

I really wanted Dead Island at the 12.xx price but both times (and both days) it was listed at that price (here and on steam) it would change to $26 in my basket.  Oh well, will get it eventually.

While not really the best place for this, would anyone be interested in trading 7 coal for either 50% off Valve Library or 50% off Revenge of the Titans?

So, is Disciples III Resurrection worth $7.50?  I know the original game got slammed, but wasn't sure if they'd improved it at all.

For $5, yes. It's not an RPG like the other Gothic games. Basically an action game. It looks great and starts off ok but loses momentum as there isn't a whole lot to it - very RPG lite. When I was about 10-12 hours in I had thought it was coming to an end - to my surprise it went on another 13 hours - so it took me 25 hours to finish the entire thing. You should be warned that about 20 or so hours in you'll come across one of those "rage quit" type puzzles. I managed to work my way through it but I can see a number of people stopping there as by then most of the fun of the game has gone and its almost not worth contining.

But other than that particular section it is pretty easy going and you won't have trouble progressing.

So again for $5 its worth it for playing a pretty action rpg-super lite game. I'll be picking up the Fall of Setariff "expansion" but have no desire to play the original G4 campaign again.

* text modified to remove my exessive use of the word "game" and phrase "the game" - yes it bugged me that much.

A lot of good prices for this sale. I just own most of the stuff I'm interested in already.

In the most recent episode of the Jumping the Shark podcast, Tom Chick picked Space Pirates and Zombies as one of his favorite games of the year, and maybe more importantly, as one of his most played games of the year.

I haven't played it myself, though.

If you're talking about the coupons that people are getting from the prize hunt, they're not good until after the sale is over.
