I'd say Alpha Protocol is definitely worth a fiver. it's a fun spy action RPG. I loved Singularity at 3 times that price, so for $7.49 it's a steal if you like sci-fi FPS's. Bionic Commando ReArmed is old skool tough. played the MP beta for R.U.S.E. and felt like it could get old pretty quickly.
me and a buddy are debating Frozen Synapse. You get a full copy for a friend with it so it's even better if you split the cost with someone.
Then, I'll probably go ahead and get Alpha and Singularity. I loved the old skool Bionic Commando from when I played it back in the 80's! I didn't care much for the new one though. I wish Frozen Synapse had a demo. It looks fun, but I've bought games that looked fun before and they ended up sucking...

The sale almost killed me today! I just bought like 10 games for $60 bucks! I hope this sale is over quickly!
EDIT: Almost forgot, add another $25 to the above for New Vegas + DLC's

I'm definitely in for New Vegas and the DLC's today! I missed the last sale they had a few weeks back... Gonna try the R.U.S.E. demo and see if it's worth buying too? Unsure about some other titles, like: Singularity, Alpha Protocol, and Bionic Commando Rearmed? And thinking about the Meridian 4 Complete Pack?
I am a Raven fan, and was thoroughly disappointed with Singularity. I paid $20 for it, and that was about $10 too much. If you're a shooter junkie and don't mind a thoroughly average story and a half-baked "time manipulation" gimmick, $7.50 is about right.

It's Steam. You don't have to worry about patches. The game comes pre-patched when you download it, and if further patches are released, they'll be downloaded and applied automatically.

So far, I've bought the THQ hits collection, Magicka complete pack, and Tropica 3 + Expansion.
I'm contemplating New Vegas, but I'm pretty confident my new backlog will last solidly until the holiday sale.

Grabbing With Fire and Sword, the two New Vegas DLC's and Trine today. didn't grab anything yesterday (still couldn't pull the trigger on Sniper: Ghost Warrior, even at 5 bucks) but grabbed Fable 3 and a couple of it's DLC's on Saturday.
How is it that you of all people hadn't bought Trine yet?

How is it that you of all people hadn't bought Trine yet? I had it on Impulse, but for 2 bucks I decided to consolidate it into my Steam library. I've done that for pretty much every one of the half dozen games I have bought on Impulse.

a better discount on Dungeon Siege 3 would be nice, but I'm predicting:
a Call of Duty game a Telltale Season Killing Floor one of the Left 4 Dead games Shattered Horizon one of the Tom Clancy series one of the silly sims they have a LEGO game a MMO (probably Aion) Red Faction: Guerrilla Dark Void a half Life 2 episode
for everyone one I'm wrong on everyone may punch Teggy in the junk once.

I'm slightly confused. Does the Guild Wars Trilogy include the Eye of the North content? I want to pick up everything available, but it reads like that one expansion isn't in the trilogy bundle while everything else is.

From what I've seen of most MMOs offered in this manner, and even some other games such as King Arthur, they're starting to bundle everything but the most recent expansion into the packages.
Looking at the pics, it includes both the terms and avatars for Factions and Nightfall, and being a trilogy, I would imagine that Eye of the North is not included.

From what limited reading that I did, the trilogy are all stand-alone, which means that EotN would technically be the first "expansion".

Oh Lord, I bought King Arthur about a year ago for what was then quite a good deal. Not only have I not played it but I've never even installed it and now they've got it and all the expansions on sale for $4.50 which means I'm going to have to go and throw good money after bad! This just reaffirms that unless you're planning on playing a game right away you shouldn't buy any game unless it has hit the $5 mark when you can be confident that it won't get even cheaper in future sales (or even if it does the difference is negligible).

Indeed.... I bought the Dragon Age Ultimate Edition last December for what I thought was a great deal ($25) - now it's going for $10 less than half a year later. Of course I haven't done anything other than install it and play for about 10 minutes total since purchasing it.

How's everyone doing on their Summer Camp tickets? I've only earned 5 so far. Not that it will matter since the drawing is such a long-shot, but how awesome would it be to win the 10 games in my Wishlist.

8 tickets so far. Been trying to do the ones for the games I already own. Most entertaining achievement for me was the Defense Grid one where you can't use cannons/guns for any of the maps. It made me try new tactics out and found a good one with using multiple tesla coils - fun. Also neat was for Lead & Gold where someone set up a server just for that achievement - so got that one completed in a few minutes.
Will have to try the L4D2 one tonight. Haven't played that game in awhile so will be fun to go back.

Seems to be getting decent reviews. Here's a GiantBomb Quicklook showing a good portion of gameplay. As for the tickets, I have 2. I quickly gave up trying to get any that I didn't already have, so I'm just hoping for the best.

Finished Batman on the 360 a while ago, but never got all the audio logs. Plus, the damn game is so great I actually wanna play it again (I traded in my other copy soon after finishing it). And Gothic 2 gold on steam for 2.49 was just too tempting to pass up.
