LOL, the most expensive one was River of Time at 10 bucks, the rest were so cheap that even if they did knock them down it'd only be a couple of bucks.

I picked up Back To The Future and Bit.Trip.Runner for $15 total.  I would have bought Borderlands GOTY, but I just paid $12 for it on Amazon the other day

had my finger on the purchase button for bttf and dow2:r but then the ghosts of the steam backlog showing 5 episodes of monkey island and both dow2 and dow2:cr mocking me and held off.  i've added a bunch of stuff to my wishlist though in case it goes on super sale.  mostly small stuff though as i won't feel like an idiot for spending bucks on games that will join the list of the unplayed in my steam catalog.

I think armored princess is still on sale on impulse.  Plus I saw it for $5 at gamestop yesterday.  Just in case you can't wait!

edit:  Amazon has the platinum edition that includes all Kings bounty titles for $8.79 digital download.

damn, Duke Nukem Forever is part of the $79.99 2K pack, and there's almost enough DLC and stuff in it that I want (almost 50 bucks worth) that it almost makes grabbing the whole pack worth it.

I was just eyeing that list myself. It would be more tempting if I didn't already own both Bioshocks, Civ IV, both Freedom Force games, and Borderlands. Essentially, I would be buying it for Civ V, Mafia 2, NBA 2k11, and MLB 2k10. Not sure if that is worth $80 since I probably wouldn't play the other games much.

This Steam sale plus all the iOS sales running right now is going to hurt. So far I've been able to resist, but Witcher 2 for $33 was mighty damn tempting. Fortunately I had enough in my backlog I knew I wouldn't get to it right away.

Interesting.  when i initially went to that page it must have still been in the process of updating prices (it WAS literally seconds after the update).  dungeons was at about 26 bucks and the GTA pack was around 20.  I may have to bite on dungeons at that price.

Anyone tried Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 on the PC? For $10 it's perked my interest but it sounds like it may have had (has?) technical issues. Also I know the original was like a 20 gig download due to inlcuding all the languages in it or something like that. Anyone know if the same deal for 2?

Only other game I'm looking at today is Dwarfs!? for $5.

And Black Ops needs to be way cheaper than $40.

dwarf one is bugged I think, just got the 2500 points. got the achievement but it's not marked as completed under the summer thing.


anyways that ones easy to get. since there's no time limit just built up a 2 combo on the middle ones then park yourself on the far right and aim for the back ones when you can. boom done in like 5 mins.

So far the only game I've gotten is a 2nd copy of NWN2 Platinum for my son so we can play it co-op. It was only a 33% dicsount, but hey at $13 there's a heckuva lot of gameplay there.  Here's hoping they put the ARMA II Combined Ops bundle on sale.

Yes!  It is therapeutic mayhem! Bad day at work? Come home and fire up JC2, shit ass grin is guaranteed within 10 minutes.  That game will never come off my hard drive.

I've only played the demo, but the overall response to the game didn't seem very positive.  From what I've read about the game, it's a poor successor to Dungeon Keeper.  The thing that really turned me off was the fact that invading enemies grow more powerful at set time intervals, so if you get behind, it's almost impossible to catch up.

I finally broke down and picked up Last Remnant.  It's been on my "someday" list for a few years now, but I've never seen it on one of these screaming deal sales.  In two years, it's been on a daily sale once (a day I was out of town), hasn't been on a weekend sale, and hasn't been included in any of the summer or holiday sales.  It's 33% off right now, so I figured I may as well grab it.

With my luck, it'll go for $5 tomorrow...

Because I have the next 3 days off work and actually have some time to game...an extreme rarity in my life.  I also really wanted something new to play, and have been itching for a new JRPG.  LR is the only current gen JRPG that I haven't tried yet.

It's also never shown up on any of the other holiday sales, so why would this one be any different?
