Best Buy has Rocksmith for both the PS3 and the Xbo 360 for $39.99 shipped free.  You can also get it for store pick up as well.   Nice price, especially since the Best Buy set includes the special effects pedal Ive been told.

That is a good deal on a really neat piece of software (I do hesitate to call it a game), and you are correct that the Best Buy version includes a few extra effects pedals.  Unfortunately, those added effects aren't ones that I find particularly interesting or useful.
