it's not silly for them (it's a smart move to earn more money) but it is silly for a customer who falls for this.

I don't get that - if you do the 7 day trial you don't get the full game?

EDIT: Oh, I see, if you do the free trial you have to pay $40 or whatever they charge now for the full game and then you get a free month. If you buy this for $9.99 you have to add a month on for $15, so I guess you save $15.
