Just a heads up that P4G is available on PSN for only $19.99 this week. I decided to finally jump on this after hearing so many great things about it.

I see they have the other Persona games for the PSP/Vita listed in the deal section.  I got Persona 3 FES for the PS2 and like it so far, rented P4 Golden from Gamefly and liked it as well (may have to purchase it as I didn't get much time to play though).  any of the other Persona games worth it?

Don't bother with Persona 3 Portable, it does have great gameplay improvements, but it loses out on a lot of character, story, and artwork in the transition to PSP.

Unless you can really stomach old style games, and old style JRPGs, stay away from Persona 1 and 2.

I agree with everything Turtle said.  Although they're nominally the same game, Persona 3: FES is a better experience than Persona 3 PSP because of the in-engine cutscenes and world exploration.

Persona 3 : FES is also part of the sale, and it's only $4.99.

thanks.  was watching some trailers for the second one and while it looked interesting the combat definitely looked different than 3 & 4.  wasn't sure if that was just bad editing or what.
