Any chance this can also be activated on Steam like the PC versions?  Would be a fairly brilliant move if it could to get people to try out the system.

I'm not sure how that would work, you play on their machines and it's all streamed to you.

I think Lordnine means via Steam code or somesuch.  That would go a long way towards getting me to throw some cash in OnLive's direction.

Still, $45 for the console, never mind the games?  That's tempting.

that's what I meant, I'm not sure how they will handle that.  I'm not sure if they'll give you an option to see your key since I think the idea is to get you to play through their service.  they might but someone would have to ask their support section for a definite answer I guess.

I'm also not sure if they make you connect to their system and then log into Steam.  in retrospect I don't think I'd want to enter my Steam info into a third party system anyways.
