New PS2 Greatest Hits

According to IGN, Jak 3, Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal, Killzone, ATV Offroad Fury 3, Hot Shots Golf FORE!, and Sly 2: Band of Thieves will be joining the PS2's $20 Greatest Hits line, probably on August 23.

I want at least 4 of those games.  Already have one of them and am going to read some reviews on the last.

Jak 3, Ratchet & Clank: UYA, Killzone, ATV OF3 will be mine!  Less than $80 with those Best Buy, et al deals.
I already have Sly 2.  Might get HSG4 if the reviews were kind.

That is AWESOME news. I have been aching for a Jak3 and Rachet 3 price drop, and I desperately wanted to try Killzone again after getting the FPS itch again lately. Hopefully they will come out with one of those deals so we can really capitalize on this.

I am on my 3rd pass through Killzone.  Not the greatest technical achievement perhaps, but still one of my favs of this generation.  Hate me all you want, but that's how I feel.

First off, I am quite sure no one hates you, and if they do I will bitchslap them straight, secondly, after I tried Killzone for two hours and quit on it listening to you constantly ranting about how good it is has worked me into a frenzy to get this on GH. So you are doing something right

Has anyone seen any of these games at the $20 price yet?  I don't know when they actually go on sale at that price, but when I asked an employee at a local Gamestop, he looked at me like I was an idiot and said, "Killzone?  Yeah, right."

My favorite part of that game was 1) how the characters actually develop and grow in the game.  I mean two of the characters absolutely want to kill each other but throughout the course of the game with each of them saving the others life here and there they not only come to respect each other but to actually like each other.  Much like Gimli and Legolas in LoTR.  And secondly that chaingun is to friggin die for.  I never get tired of using that bad boy.  You get that (via the 3rd character introduced) around mission 3 or 4 and he is all I use from them on out.  Fun.  


My biggest complaint is the repetitious yells of the Helgast.  God, how I hate their battle cries.

Killzone for $20 is a no brainer in my opinion if you own a PS2.

I had been watching Target for a while and they only yesterday dropped the price by me, so I picked up the last copy of Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal from them.  I HATE picking up games with the red banner on them, so I'm happy to get an original box with this one.  Probably should have picked up Hot Shots Golf FORE as well, but forgot about that one.

Now if God of War would only drop...

I'm like you-I hate the red banner, but I will buy if I don't have any other options. My buddy at EB is going to pull aside Jak, Rachet and Killzone and I am going to go pick them up in a few minutes. Looking forward to it-especially for Rachet: UYA.

Bah, I got original Killzone, but red band Rachet UYA-I'll live though. I will pick up Jak3 some other time.

I'll take the red over those day-glo green bands they put on the Playstation Greatest Hits.  I think they were trying to punish you for not paying full price for them

I just picked up Killzone for 20 bucks in Baltimore, MD.  Got it sitting right here, waiting for later.
