Wow that's a sweet deal. I ordered one as well. I suspect it's a mistake and the preorders will be cancelled but it's worth a try.
I don't know anything about the game. Anyone know much about it other than its a RTS?

Is this just $10 for the pre-order and the rest to be charged later?
EDIT: Bah I went ahead and ordered one anyway.

The Target price is still listed as ten bucks. I put my order in. Was going to get it for the Xbox for the surround sound, but for $15, I can do without. Here's hoping it goes through.

$15 for the DVD version. No complaints here!
'course, we'll see how long they keep my order at $9.99. I'm fully expecting it to be changed, but I'll be (very) pleasantly surprised, if not.

I don't get an "Add to Cart" option at Target.com, it only allows "Add to Wishlist" or gift registry crap. Although I did preorder this one a few months ago from Amazon when they had it for $20.

I don't get an "Add to Cart" option at Target.com, it only allows "Add to Wishlist" or gift registry crap. That's probably because they caught the error, and are fixing it It's funny how fast word on these pricing errors travel around the net. If you don't catch the deal as it happens, you're probably out of luck. Besides, can't they just claim 'misprint' and cancel you?

"Was going to get it for the Xbox for the surround sound"
Are you talking about Battle for Middle Earth or the FarCry DVD mentioned in the first post? AFAIK, BfME is a PC-only game.

You know, for some reason I thought I was ordering LotR: The Third Age. That's what I get for reading stuff before I have coffee. Penny Arcade was talking about Third Age, and I read that just before this, so that must have confused me.
Eh, this works out well too, because I was going to get Battle for Middle Earth anyway.

They cancelled mine too. Bullshit if you ask me. If I go into a store and there is a price on a shelf for an item, they sell it to you for that amount and then go change the price.

I didn't get a cancellation email yet, but I checked my order status on the site, and they'd cancelled it.
