Need one of these for my brother and wonder if anyone knows where they might be fairly cheap.

Wal-Mart had a wireless one on sale this week for $49.99, it is capable of both wireless and landline connectivity. It's regularly priced at $59.99.

hey,

if you want to check online, try CompuPlus - i saved $80 on an Archos G Mini there...(and shipping and customer service was really fantastic).  i don't know enough about them to tell you if they're good prices, but all the LynkSys routers are here (and they run from $39 to .... well, 3 figures):
www.compuplus.com - on left, choose Routers, then choose LynkSys brand.

good luck,
