Last day for Blockbuster (gamerush) trade-in special

I was in Gamerush today, and they say you can bring in any ol' PS2, xbox, or gamecube game to trade, and get $20 off any hot new release. Even if the game you trade has a $1 trade value, you still get $20 off. I saw a guy bring in a POS game and got Halo 2 for $29. So the key is to bring in some crap game you don't want to get the deal.

Is Gamerush only in select Blockbusters?

This may be a YMMV unless it just started today.  I know certain parts of the country had a promotion to get $20 off if you traded 2 games in but it only applied to a list of "newer" games.  I was in mine in Charlotte yesterday when I bought the LE Halo 2 and they did not have this promotion running (I really wish they did).

good point, ericb. I didn't realize this wasn't universal for all blockbusters.

Rage, yep, I guess only certain BB's have gamerush.

According to my BB/Gamerush, they said it started Nov 2nd, and will go to the 22nd.

Today is the last day for this deal. If you can do it, it's an oustanding deal, and it's even better than I originally thought. Not only do you get the $20 off, you get the value of your trade in as well.

I just got a new copy of Ghost Recon 2 (xbox) for $26.99! I traded in Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
