I try to hold off on these, but I always end up finding something...
I'll add more codes as they come up.

CODE :
DVDTALK
SUPERSALE

Codes from the last sale (not sure if they work for this sale) :
DVDTALK
USATODAY
NYTIMES
SUPERSALE
DVDPRICESEARCH
SUMMERSALE
YAHOO
ESPN
LATIMES
XM
SOUTHSIDE
WGN

Taken from DvdTalk :
-----------------------------------------------------

The dates of the DeepDiscount.com 20% Off Summer Sale are June 1 - June 17!

As always, the faithful at DVDTalk get early notice of the promotion and the discount codes are now active!

The 20% coupon excludes preorders, but applies to all DVDs, HDDVDs, Blu-Rays, UMDs, Posters, Storage Accessories and the new Puzzles and Board Games cateogries.

Your discount will show in your shopping cart and on your order history screen as a total promotional discount amount and will not be reflected on the line item basis.

The 20% coupons do not apply to Books, CDs, Electronics or Video Games.

However, we have discounted nearly 150,000 books and 15,000 CDs an additional 20% off for this sale. Those titles are marked with a "Mega Sale" logo and the price shown on the site is the discounted price--no coupon is necessary to get the discount on the titles marked with a "Mega Sale" logo. All of these titles will appear on the site on June 1 and there will be rooms for you to sort through the Book and CD titles on sale.

We hope that you enjoy and thank you very much for your business!

Use coupon code: DVDTALK

<sigh> why can't they schedule this during a time when I'm not already spending alot of money, like February or March?  Sure, I could take part in the sale but with all the money going out the door this month that would be irresponsible.

On a side note, I really don't like the way they re-did their website.  Managin the wish list seems to be more work now.

More Blu-Ray for me! To note, Blu-Ray discs that cost $21.89 are $17.51 after the discount, and those that cost around $19.23 (hullo Road Warrior and Goodfellas!), you'll get at $15.46 after the discount. Some very decent prices on HD content.

Definitely gotta order. That, and I want that Discovery Channel special. Normally $70 there, it'll be quite a bit cheaper afterwards. smile

Arg, thanks a lot... I'd already wasted too much money this month!

Picking up:
Complete Matrix Trilogy (HD-DVD)
Jack of all Trades
Sliders: Seasons 1 and 2
a workout video for my wife

All for $95, not too shabby. (and even with the discount most of that is the matrix, hehe).  Don't think I would have bought that without the deal.

The only thing I ended up getting was Planet Earth BRD which was abuot 57$ after discount-too good to pass up for something for me and the girl can watch-however, its backordered and DDD is sloooow to ship sometimes.

Last time I picked up all the DCAU Batman collections (all six of them).  If you are getting 20% off, you may as well get the big ticket things.

I'm going to see if they have the Gundam Wing series.  Aside from Robotech, that's about the only thing I can think of that I want to add to my collection right now.

[edit]  Damn, my wallet.  I ordered Gundam Wing (around $100 after the discount), but also grabbed "Robotech The New Generation" (the third series) from Amazon.  That one was pretty cheap, someone was selling it for $20 and it was stated as good condition.

These damn childhood memories sure are costing me a lot of money.

I picked up the Planet Earth full series DVD.  Figured it'd be a good investment for animal drawing and an interesting watch.

I'm probably going to buy the Avatar season 1 DVDs and Season 2 if it's out.

I've been holding off on the Alien Quadrilogy, so I finally ended up picking that up along with a bunch of $5-$7 DVDs.

That's weird.  Have you used the codes before for this sale?  Each code works only once per order.

I have not.  I'll give it a go later.

EDIT: I had preorder stuff (that comes out tomorrow) in the basket.  I suspect that makes a difference.

Let me know how much each of these are. I'm actually interested in picking up both of them too.
