When this thing was up for only $19.99 at Amazon.com a few months back (in the Gone Gold days) there were a few of us that ordered this even though we expected it to get quietly cancelled or changed to the strategy guide or something.  Well, I just got my email confirmation that the order has shipped out the game (not strategy guide or anything) for only $27.16 with shipping and tax.  Not a bad deal at all!

So are any of you other guys out there that ordered this back then and did you get a confirmation email also?

Don't rub it in dude.  Im deeply saddened by this. Here's my sad tale.  frown

I did the same but about a month ago one of these game deal forums had a thread for this game at I believe Amazon and or Target for $10.  I was able to successfully place the order so I canceled my $20 Amazon order.  Shortly after canceling I received an email from Amazon/Target stating it was a price mistake and they were canceling the $10 BfME orders

But all is not lost :!:  For some crazy reason Best Buy recently gave me a huge chunck of reward points and I was sent a coupon for $20 off :!:   I'll be heading to Best Buy today and picking up the game for $19.99. Now the question is are we still able to use the $5 off coupon from the Best Buy gift cards on software:?:

damn, that is a good price.  the question is, is the game worth it?  the impressions have been favorable but hit and miss.

and damn if i don't have a ton of other games to play right now anyways

I got this deal too.  I'm surprised they honored it.

I ordered 2 from Amazon and 2 from Target when they were $10. (Hedging my bets). My Target one was canceled the next day, but I never received the cancelation notice from Amazon.
Fast forward to release day. I check my amazon account and low and behold the order was canceled.
So what do I do? I call Amazon and start being a typical customer and complain. I explain that I never got a cancelation email and that I missed out on other deals because I thought this was still coming to me. Finally got a supervisor on the phone. More talking and bang, they reinstated my order for $9.99 each so I received 2 of them the other day. smile

I preordered 4 copies back in May from Amazon for 19.99 and got them at that price plus free shipping since it was over $25.

I've got three very happy friends (plus myself).
