This week's sale is on Spiderweb's RPGs.  $1 gets you Steam keys/downloads for Geneforge 1-5, Avadon : The Black Fortress, and Avernum 1-6 + Blades of Avernum (Av 1-3 and Blades aren't on Steam).  Pay more than the average to also get Avernum : Escape From The Pit and Nethergate Resurrection.

I've already got all of these save for The Showdown Effect, but I'm not too keen on a MP shooter.  Thomas was alone is pretty slick, but short.  McPixel is interesting in that same category as those interactive art pieces on mobile.  Botanicula is a decent platformer with some unusual mechanics.  Amnesia is a great take on first person horror that really goes back to the basics of the genre without adding in combat and survival stuff

Dungeonland is fun but ridiculously buggy.  The dungeon lord mode (one person places monsters and the rest have to fight them) is something that needs to happen in more games.

got kind of excited about Testament being in there, then checked my Steam library and see I already have it.  still, tempted for Blood Bowl, Wargame and Confrontation.  of course, those are the only 3 games in there I don't have, but Game of Thrones on Steam would be nice (I got the Gamersgate version).

thx CeeKay.  I wasn't at my post when the clock ticked over to 11.

likely in for the lower tier.  $5 seems a bit much consider that PA 2 has been at least that cheap bundled with the first one and the Baconing is just more of the same deathspank afaik.

Just found this out.  you don't get Steam keys, technically.  you get prompted to authorize Humble to add to your account.  the redeem page now has links which auto-associate your key with the account.

it's a benefit to redeeming them, but it effectively kills the secondary market for Humble Bundle.  Fair warning to anyone interested.

I wonder what happens if you choose the gift code option.

note that Worms:Armageddon has been getting updates/enhancements/add-ons over the past 11 years by a pair of coders who do it in their free time. at this point, the amount of customizable options in the game is insane... it's the definitive Worms title at this point - even more than the latest Reloaded/Revolution versions from Team 17.

to see the humongous list of changes, get the readme file from here

(if you still have the original CD, you can download the latest patch from Team 17's FTP site. yes, it works with 64-bit Windows OSes, including Windows 8.1)
