This isn't a "deal", but I want to warn anyone who is considering ordering from EBGames.com, do so at your own risk. I recently received an order from them, and one of the games obviously had been opened and the CD was missing. I paid for an empty box. Now, they are telling me I must return the game, either by mail or by going to an EBGames store to get a refund or replacement Has anyone else had any bad experiences with EBgames.com? BTW, all the games in my order had light to moderate damage to the boxes. The one that had the missing CD was heavily damaged. I've ordered numerous times from Amazon and Gamestop, and their products always arive in mint condition (as they should). I'm about to stop buying from EBGames.

I've never had a problem with EBGames previously and they do a ton of good business, so I would say that you just happened to get a crappy deal with your order. Of course that doesn't make you feel any better, but I wouldn't go so far as to tell people to avoid one of the largest video game stores around.

CircuitCity.com is notorious for damaged boxes . I've ordered from them 5 or more times, and every time I have recieved crushed boxes. I haven't yet had a problem with EBGames.com but I am sure my time is to come.

I've never had a problem like that with ebgames, though for some reason they hate my credit card - I am constantly getting notices that my card has been rejected by them (though I have no problem elsewhere)

What do you expect them to do ? They should pay for the return shipping, though.

Well to be fair to them they don't know if you received an empty box or if you received the full game and are claiming you received an empty box. A quality business might take your word for it but it would also be easy for someone to take advantage of them.
They should pay for you to ship the game back to them however.
