Signs still said 35% off but prices rang up at 50% off.

Also, many prices on stickers are wrong - eg. Iron Storm was stickered at $13 - price check said it was now $6 - Paid $3.

I saw this Thursday at EB. I should of asked about the copy of Madden 2005 that was on the shelf. It had a $24.99 sticker on it but it had been covered by a magic marker. I guess I'll check it out today.

I did pick up a new copy of Colin Mcrae Rally 2005 for $19.99.

I picked up Republic, Armed and Dangerous and Max Payne 2 for a total of $5 and change.

There were a number of $17.99 games that were very appealing - I wonder if any of them were mislabelled.

I just got back and picked up the following:

Age of Mythology - Box Label 17.99 - Rang up 14.99 - 75% Dis = 3.75

Stronghold Crusaders - Box Label 9.99 - Rang up 7.99 - 75% Dis = 2.00

Spiderman - Box Label 3.95 - Rang up 3.95 - 75% Dis = .99

Max Payne 2 - Box Label 17.99 - Rang up 7.99 - 75% Dis = 2.00

This rocks.  The guy at the store was pretty cool and also said they have hundreds of other titles in the back and just no room to put them out front.  He offered to look up anything I was interested in but of as normal my mind went completely blank.  :roll:

He said to maybe check the web site and then give him a call and he would check on them for me.

I also had them ring up Star Wars KOTOR but it still came up 17.99 and also had him check Blitzkreig ?????? that came up 17.99.  I passed on those but saw some you guys listed here that I need to call and check on LOL

I am a delayed game purchase whore.  While everyone is buying the stuff coming out this year I am pick up last year stuff for penny's on the dollar.

Anyone know when this deal is over?  I found Unreal 2 + Robin Hood Defender of the Crown for $5.62 when I was on vacation.  If it's still going next week then I am going to check out the stores around town.

I can confirm that the sale is dead in the Greenville, SC area. Not sure if its dead in all markets, but I think it likely is.

Let's hope that they bring it back before the end of the Christmas season.

I checked in the POS system last night and at least according to promotions the deal is 70% off PO-PC games until 12/31/04. I haven't tried it yet but that's what it says. Just have them go into Email, Promotions, Pre-Played and it should be listed there.

Back on? Not as far as I can see. Made a purchase at one EB store with no discount > 14.99 game  and I talked to another employee in another EB store who told me the DEAL IS OFF.

I wish it were still on  :cry:
