I was hoping they'd have a sale on FME.  I loves me some mech gaming.  Anyone have any impressions of it though?  Good?  Bad?  Meh?

I found it meh.  it's got some cool stuff but at times can be really irritating, and I gave up at one point where it forces you to use a particular mech build just for the sake of making things dificult.

I did a little cruisin' through reviews on metacritic and yeah...it doesn't come across well.  I'll pass.   icon_frown

Whew! I almost caved on the Just Cause 2 anyways.

FME holds no interest for me at 63%.

I miss both Mechwarrior series.

How accessible is Sup Comm2 for a n00b with little RTS experience?  It looks shiny and the price is right.

I have it but haven't installed it yet (can't even remember when I bought it at this point), but for 6 bucks it's hard to go wrong.

I hear it's one of those 'love it or hate it' type games.

I bought it cheap too, and will get around to trying it someday.

Codename 47 has one mission which is a real PITA, but the rest of the game is decent.

Really enjoyed Silent Assassin - can be played different ways and you get different "rewards" based on the style of play.  Completing the game and getting Silent Assassin on every mission is fun - if you like the sneak type stuff and figuring out logical puzzles on which types of disguises to use and when.  This one is the best of the set.

Blood Money isn't as challenging as either of the first two.  It's considerably shorter, too giving in to the short FPS convention which started taking over when it was released.

Blood Money had some fun levels even though it was short (although I never finished it because the riverboat level always crashed on my old pc). The Mardi Gras portion was great, as was the night club in the abattoir.

I would just go with Blood Money.  While fine for their time the older games in the series haven't aged well and come across as very finicky and frustrating; not to mention the older games leave a lot to be desired in the graphics department.

I had fun with the first one, the second one was OK once you turned off the stupid camera effects but very short.
