I purchased and installed Frontlines, but it refuses to work in Windows 7.  I tried XP compatible mode, still no love.

OK, I'm kinda baffled by some of their choices for RPG/MMO week.  GTA?  Assassins Creed?  surely they had some better actual RPG choices to pick from, those games belonged in action week.

Neverwinter Nights 2 is no longer up. The expansion is but the original is no longer on the site. bastards. And it says Storm of Zehir requires the expansion.

Yeah, I got that as I already had the original expansion and NWN2.  And Drakensang.

Not only has the game been removed from the sale, it doesn't appear that they're selling it at all anymore.  Even the "gold" edition is missing.

Glad I picked it up last night.  Hopefully I won't run into any activation code wierdness when I attempt to install it.

Well fuck.  That pisses me off a bit.  Of course, NWN2 is still advertised in the trailer for the anniversary sale on their front page.  I'm hoping it's some kind of site glitch and the game goes back up soon.

I got worried for a second because I bought NWN2 off them when it was released, but checking my account shows the game still downloadable for me so if you did manage to buy it it should be listed under there for download.  that also rules out my thought that maybe they were having issues with the version they have so they pulled it since I can download it.

Grabbed Riddick. That's way too good of a deal to pass up.

If you grab Riddick and don't use their download thing, make sure that you use Winzip to unpack it.  The Windows unzipper can't deal with some of the large files in that download, and the install won't work.

If I hated morrowind and oblivion more then any other game ever will I also hate NWN2?   Ive never played any of the games in that series and dont know if the play style of the games is similar.

But you can download it without using their downloader, and then it comes down as a single zip file.  Which is probably why they tell you to use their downloader, but I've always thought that you shouldn't believe everything you read.

Other than being of the same genre, they are not very alike. NWN is more like a simplified Baldurs Gate (fewer party members to manage) although not as good.

Ok just remember that I also said "...although not as good." Don't expect BG3 here! I hope you like it. I never finished NWN2 (I got very far and just ran out of steam), but I did enjoy the main campaign a lot until I quit it. It's definitely better than NWN1.
