Had no clue this existed.

Spotted this on a bargain site, which linked to the article on the Inquirer. Looks like this settlement allows everyone who bought an Audigy from March 1999 - December 2004 can file a claim for a voucher for 25% off a Creative Labs product from the site http://www.audiocardsettlement.com provided you give your personal info plus the model and serial number of your card.

There's no mention of this on Creative's site that I can find...  I'd be cautious of giving out my personal info on that site

i don't know if that particular site is legitimate or not, but the lawsuit and recent settlement are true.  unfortunately, Creative's online store has prices and shipping charges that are so elevated compared to other retailers that you probably wouldn't wind up saving much money in the end...

Yea, I was watching the Senate on C-Span a few weeks ago talking about this very issue. Where lawyers get cash for themselves and worthless coupons for the "injured" parties.
