Been back and forth over Civ V for a year - not being weaned on the series - but I hear the entry point for new players is incorporated into V and the price is right. Resistance is often futile....  |

How does that work? Do you download it from Gamersgate and Steam somehow puts it in your library? |

You'll get a serial number when you buy the game and you can simply register that number with Steam. You don't even need to download the GG copy.

Sigh. I need to relax and read a bit before posting, to avoid looking like a rabid fool again.
Yes, you can use the game key on Steam. Also, the conversion from the Euro makes the price closer to something like $9.95, which is better than my original post. Sorry so many posts for one point.

Oops never mind-sales over. I just have no time for a Civ game anyways and buy the time I actually would have gotten around to playing it it would probably be the same price again only this time including DLC.

Pulled the trigger and activated on Steam. Had a free upgrade to deluxe version (from my GTS 450 purchase last year) - also worked on Steam. Nice!
