I wouldn't mind getting in on that Infinite Undiscovery. I would also pick up the Guitar Hero 3 if it included the guitar since I've only played the first one once but I don't suppose that would be the case.

There are some good games in there. Including Pure, which was largely ignored when it came out, and Ninja Gaiden DS. Annoyingly, there are games on PS3 that I would buy for 360, and I want PS3 Alone in the Dark.
The only one I will be definitely picking up is Rubik's World. I heard it was decent fun on the Wii, and it's something my kid might like. Couldn't justify the full price, but at $10? Hell, yeah. I may also be getting Too Human.

I'd be totally in on NHL 2K9 and Infinite Undiscovery, but will be swamped at a trade show all week and won't be able to get to a Best Buy until next Friday at the earliest. My guess is that anything worth having will be pretty picked over by then. If anyone happens to be going on Sunday and wouldn't mind picking up a copy of them, I'd gladly pay shipping and a few $$ for your trouble.

I would imagine that most of these are already out of stock or completely gone. BB likes to do this when they are clearing games out.

Yeah, I'm probably going to check their website on Sunday morning when the sale goes live and see if I can buy any for in-store pickup. I don't need any of them bad enough to potentially waste a trip down there.

I picked up Quantum of Solace 360 today for $29.99. Keeping the receipt (and unopened just in case) so I can price match when the sale kicks in. They had quite a few copies at my local BB, and I saw a few other titles that I remembered from the list. I was hoping to grab Bolt but they didn't have that in stock.

Checked online this morning and it seems that almost every 360 game on the list has already sold out online... I'm still going to check at the store, maybe I can find something decent for $10 bucks?

I'm going to run over and check my BB when they open, however I'm telling myself that nothing will still be available so i don't get too disappointed when I arrive only to discover that every single game has been snapped up by employees and people who purchased them before today and plan on price matching the sale this week.

I'm not even going to bother. I'd be making a trip exclusively for this, and it's 99% likely that the selection has already been picked over. So really, I'd be wasting a trip, and even if I wasn't, I'd wind up with more games that I don't particularly need (especially when I just got three off the Gamestop buy 2 get 1 sale).

I'd be willing to pay any kind soul $15 for any of these games: 360: 007 Quantum of Solace Blitz 2 Bourne Conspiracy NHL 2k9 Soul Calibur 4 Too Human Unreal Tournament 3 If anyone grabbed any of those, let me know.... I'd definitely appreciate it! I don't leave near a BB... so I can't go myself. WV = sucks.

My local BB was already out of most of the games. I grabbed Soul Calibur 4 (PS3), Alone In the Dark (360), and Red Alert 3 (360). They did have about 200 copies of Rock Revolution though.

I swung by two best buys (yes, I'm a whore) at 11am when they opened - but could not find Soul Calibur 4 available at either of them. I did whore it up though: Soldier of Fortune: Payback Silent Hill Homecoming Pure Devil May Cry 4 Fracture Enemy Territory: Quake Wars Turning Point: Fall of Liberty Infinite Undiscovery Clive Barker's Jericho All for the 360; Also grabbed Ninja Gaiden 2 for the DS and Samba De Amigo for the Wii (which rang up as $5). So all in all, a pretty good haul. I grabbed a couple titles I'm unsure of (Quake Wars; Turning Point) but for $10 I figured - it could be a pleasant surprise. Now I just have to figure out what to start with....

I got there when the store was opening and it had a line outside waiting. I managed to pick up Infinite Undiscovery and Silent Hill: Homecoming for the 360 and Quantum of Solace, with a tshirt and Overlord: Raising Hell for the PS3. Not too bad for 40.00.

I was pleasantly surprised that my local BB wasn't swamped with buyers this morning. I managed to snag: Jericho Hellboy Warhammer Infinite Undiscovery Alone in the Dark Operation Darkness They're all games I was interested in, but not more than 10 dollars worth of interested in. P.S. I went back about an hour and a half later because I forgot to look for Silent Hill and the friggin' stands were picked clean. There was absolutely nothing left. I then drove over to another one about 6 miles away and they're shelves were also bare. The hoarders must have swooped in after I left the store the first time.

No PC games on sale? Nope. I got there when mine opened and picked up Overlord: Raising Hell PS3, Ninja Gaiden DS and 007: QoS (360) in the big box with the t-shirt. Funny, but the regular edition wasn't on sale. Lots of people asking for Soul Caliber 4 but the three copies they had for the 360 were gone almost instantly and supplies of everything was dwindling as I watched... one guy had a stack of games going up his arm almost to the elbow.

Couldn't pull the trigger on a couple titles...had them in my hand, but having spent mucho $$$ at a camping store clearance sale, didn't do it.
BTW, Devil May Cry 4 was on sale for 360 but not PS3 (where I have a save game mid-way through SIIIIIIIGH).

All of the big-name titles (Soul Calibur 4, DMC 4, etc). were gone, but most of the lesser titles (Jericho, Quake Wars, Rock "Did they ever sell any copies?" Revolution, Blitz 2, etc.) had several copies available.

Got there 5min after opening and most stuff was already gone.
Did snag however: Devil May Cry 4 - 360 Infinite Undiscovery - 360 (x2) Soul Calibur 4 - PS3 Ninja Gaiden - DS
Now to see what I want to keep. Looked for a PURE 360 as well but they started with 4 copies apparently...
*** The girl that helped me said that not many know it but the titles shown in the ad paper can get a rain check.

All I could find on their website was this: Best Buy retail stores may offer rainchecks when advertised products are out of stock. This practice will vary by product and situation, and limited quantities or other circumstances may make a raincheck unavailable. A "raincheck" is typically something you have to ask for during the sale, proof that you attempted to purchase the item during the sale and they were out of stock. You would then take the raincheck back later and get the item at the sale price when it is back in stock.

I went looking for PURE, but they were out. I might try the raincheck route. Thanks.
I managed to pick up a few of the cheap ones, and Chinatown Wars for $20. I'm probably going to take Hellboy, Universe at War, and Prince of Persia back though. If anyone wants them, I'd be happy to trade one of them for PURE for the 360 or Soul Calibur for the 360.

I am a smart shopper. I saw that SC4 for PS3 and Infinite Undiscovery were both IN THE AD. So I went to Best Buy, got the ad, verified that they didn't have the games..... then went across the street to Wal-Mart and bought them there for the same price.

Yeah, after about five minutes of scanning the reviews of Hellboy on Metacritic, I decided that my copy is going back. Doesn't seem like it's worth $10.

I played Turning Point for a couple hours yesterday afternoon and quite liked it. It's not without it's faults (Enemy AI isn't great; some slight choppiness) Then I checked reviews, which have been horrendous. *shrug*

<sigh> I went to BB near my office at lunch and they had a copy of Silent Hill, Fracture, Pure and Universe at War so I bought those too. My god, what is wrong with me that I can't resist buying mediocre (for the most part) games when they're priced at 10 bucks???
Anyway, I know what you mean about some games getting horrid reviews but still being somewhat fun. I fired up Operation Darkness last night and loved it (other than the horrid camera and the ps2 level graphics). Then I tried Jericho and Infinite Undiscovery and quite liked those as well. However, Warhammer was not something I'll probably play after trying for 10 minutes to understand the rather frustrating control scheme.

I went to the BB near here after 1pm (yesterday) figuring I wouldn't find much but was surprised that they had multiplies of just about every game listed there on it's own sales rack right in the games department. It wasn't labeled very good that these stacks of games were on sale - each one had a tiny $9.99 sticker on it, sometimes on the top of the case.
In any case I was easily able to get the three games I was looking for - Condemned 2, Silent Hill: Homecoming, and Ninja Gaiden DS.
Red Alert was tempting but would rather play that on the PC.

At my local Best Buy, a husband and wife filled their entire shopping cart with the games. The husband actually swept half the table into his cart while I was standing there. When I looked at him and said "I hope you get burned on Ebay trying to sell those", he gave me a dirty look and said "These are gifts for the family."
Sure.
