The Amazon representative who posts the deals at Cheapass Gamer also list the sale as lasting 4/1-4/15, so those should be the correct dates. |

Stalker is open world and features wide open fire fights, exploring and quick save. Metro is claustrophobic, linear and is check point save only. I liked them both but Stalker quite a bit more. |

it's probably 5 bucks worth of fun, just don't expect Red Faction Guerrilla open worldness. grabbed The Darkness 2. I may grab Serious Sam 2 for 3 bucks (also Steam friendly), but I'm holding off on SS3:BFE until at least the Steam summer sale. |

Darkness 2 was the only game I picked up from that sale. And I really enjoyed it. Short game at 6hrs (according to Steam) but didn't get bored throughout so for $13 it was worth it. Loved the ending too (after the credits) and do hope they go on and make a 3rd one. They seemed to put a lot of work in to making an neat background history of the Darkness that really interested me.

yeah, that was added on the 5th. these price cuts are making me seriously almost consider holding off buying new games this fall and waiting for the crazy price cuts they've been having rather quickly. |
