It may be that these last two have been $7.99 because they are just released (as in, that day) albums from some pretty big name groups. I wouldn't be surprised if the $5 album of the week returns eventually.

they've had plenty of bigger name bands brand new albums at $5; they've been changing a lot of things so it wouldn't surprise me for this to be the new norm.

well son of a-  just went to grab an album from their 100 album at $5 each sale and noticed it's not there anymore.  It definitely wasn't on last month's sale, and the price has gone up on it.  I also noticed a bunch of albums I didn't see before, so if you only looked on May 1st it might not hurt to check again.

maybe they sold too many and had to change some of the albums out.

ah, thanks for pointing that out.  it may be crazy talk, but it would have been nice for them to mention that in the MP3 section; last time I checked their Facebook page I think I lost a few IQ points from some of the user posts....
