Looks like they raised the price of Millenium, and In Living Color. I'm figuring the deal is starting to fizzle off.

I may have seen it when it was on TV, but for 17$ shipped I can't pass up 24. Ohh, now I can watch in in widescreen and surround sound.

Very nice deal. Ordered King of the Hill and Buffy for the wife today. We get (by choice) no tv reception, so the only shows we watch are pre-recorded ones.

I haven’t seen many of those shows and the ones I have was only a couple episodes. I’m in the same boat as paulbaxter, no TV reception. Can someone make a recommendation for me?
24 Season 1 (Never seen but seems intriguing) Millenium Season 1 (Never seen but I liked some of the x-files eps I’ve seen) Roswell S1 (Never seen) Angel S1 (Never seen, I like Firefly though) Futurama Vol. 1 (Never seen) Simpsons S1 (Like what I’ve seen of some of the later seasons, first season animation turns me off) In Living Color S1 (Never seen) Buffy the Vampire Slayer S1 (Don’t like) King of the Hill S1 (Don’t like)

My own personal opinion is the following..
MASH- You probably would have a better idea on whether you would like this than myself as I can only recall seeing it growing up when my parents watched it.
24 Season 1- I never saw season one but watched every episode of season 2 and the first couple of 3 before moving on. If you like suspense/action/drama type shows than you most likely would really enjoy this. Atleast enough for one complete viewing as it doesn't have much rewatch value. Keep in mind that you can likely trade or sell it and recoup at the least a portion of your cost.
Millenium Season 1- sold out unless they bring it back at the discounted price.
Roswell S1- I liked the very few episodes I saw but mostly for the eye candy, namely Shiri Appleby. The show itself is sort of a sci-fi/soap opera hybrid. Overwrought but decent if you don't mind teen melodrama.
Angel S1- I've only seen a handful of Buffy/Angel episodes and didn't really care for what I saw. The first season is supposed to be its weakest sticking strictly to monster of the week episodes. My guess is if you didn't care for Buffy than you might like this but probably not love.
Futurama Vol. 1- A strong show with non traditional humor. At these prices it is one I wouldn't mind recommending blind to someone given, again, ones ability to treat it as a very cheap rental and can recoup cost either with trading it for something else or selling for most of what you pay.
Simpsons S1- the weakest of the show so if you don't like the animation right off and don't have an interest in the series as a whole then you can skip.
In Living Color S1- sold out
Buffy the Vampire Slayer S1- what you've seen is probably enough to not interest you as fans of the show state that it really doesn't take off until season 2.
King of the Hill S1- you mentioned you don't like but I really like this show. The humor is created via the characters and grows from that so benefits from seeing multiple episodes. The only weakness for me is some of the Peggy/Luanne centric episodes but otherwise I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to someone blind. Unless it really turned you off I might suggest reconsidering.
My recommendations would be definites on 24, Futurama, and King of the Hill. The others are borderline unless you are a fan of the type of genre the show is.
