Not certain if anyone cares, but just in case someone does, as of Midnight PST tonight, Amazon is doing an All PS3 day in the lightining deals in the goldbox.  I know last time they had a couple deals, so if any of you were looking, tomorrow will be the time.

*waves*

I care!

But I've spent so much money this past month.

I just know that they're going to have something like MLB: The Show 2008 for $10, and I'll just have to get that, then they'll put up Motorsports: Pacific Whatever, for $30, and then I'll just have to get that, then they'll add the new Lara Croft game for $30, and well, there I go again, and so on, until I have no money left to buy food. But at least I can starve to death while playing games.

I care too, and I'll be keeping an eye on it as well. Thanks for the heads up, Jake.

$40 and it's the all day deal.

lightningdeals.com says that you can also use the coupon code MSTORM10 to get it for $30.  According to their previews, there's nothing coming up that I'm interested in.  This is a good thing for me.

Unfortunately, that code isn't working. I tried it, and it said that it had expired. frown

The 1pm (EDT) deal looks like it might be BIA Hell's Highway, and I'm hoping for a $9.99 price tag. I've seen it as low as $14.99 already at other places.

my guesses:

10am PST: BIA: Hells Highway (why don't they just come out and say it?)
11am: not quite sure- can't remember what classic monster movies have been transferred to hi-def.
12pm: Tomb Raider Underworld (PS3 version is supposed to have framerate issues otherwise I'd try to get in on it)
1pm: Singstar ABBA
2pm: Resistance 2
3pm: Spiderman Web of Shadows or the blu ray discs of the movie.
5pm: not sure, probably LBP..
6pm: some Naruto game.

I figure I'll check out the 5pm PST one to see if it's LBP, but barring it being on sale I'll be waiting and officially end 2008 without purchasing a game for my PS3.

BIA HH sold out in 7 minutes. It was $9.98 (as I expected), and I didn't get to the PC until 1:07, and it said 77% claimed when I clicked the gold box. By the time I could click through to get it in my cart, it was sold out.

I've heard the Underworld port is quite excellent (even including framerate) with the only notable difference being loss of object based motion blur.  So the only issue IMO is really that PS3 owners won't get the DLC missions that are coming.

as is the abba thing, oddly enough.

and "Iceland has research facilities?" = resistance 2?  don't spoil me if that's tied to the game somehow, but otherwise, i have no idea what it could be.

hope it's a good deal though.

It should be Resistance 2.

EDIT:  Looks like it's already gone....what did it sell for?  I wish I had waited instead of buying that garbage at release.

Price should still be listed but… Gold Box Price: $49.98    (37% off) for the collector’s edition. Sold out in about 15 minutes.

I resisted! Yippee.

I saw that Pacific Storm, was tempted, but held off. Likewise, Tomb Raider wasn't enough of a deal to move me either.

Phew.
