Thanks.  I just lost cable so this'll keep me sane for at least a month.

Actually, I just got an email saying they've shipped the first two games in my Q.  I'm getting Ninja Gaiden and Res Evil 4.  I'm almost certain that they'll keep me well fed during my trial period to entice me to sign up.  I remember doing a Netflix trial and getting movies almost instantaneously.  Once I signed on as a member, the turnaround time increased, of course.

Daehawk, Ive heard shipping can be really slow, but if you are near a central delivery hub, the slowness is alleviated somewhat.  Just a rumour.
I might try this...

The slowness is due to them being in LA.  They claim 2-4 days each way, which is definitely slower than Netflix.

Thanks for the heads up.  This will be the perfect way to try out WM21 for free.

I signed up for this on the 27th and got my first two games today.  Not a bad turnaround but I doubt it'll continue if I started to pay for it.  Also helps that I'm in San Francisco, if the hub is in LA as another poster said.  Off to enjoy some free Ninja Gaiden action.

Hrm.  3 day turnaround from LA to SF?  I'm in Texas, and if the games aren't here today, then I won't be continuing the subscription, I think.

Weird.  I posted that yesterday, the 29th, so two day turnaround.  I guess my clock is messed up in my profile or something.  I actually ended up playing Res Evil 4 for half the night.  It took me a few minutes to get used to the camera but I was hooked.

Looking like a 4-day turnaround to Texas, or 5 with the weekend. frown
