If you've been thinking about buying a game from the Fantasy Strike series, now would be a good time.

I finally took the plunge on Puzzle Strike, and they offered a coupon for 10% off for a friend.

The best part is (at least for me) is that if someone uses the coupon, I also get 10% off my order!

Here are the BGG pages for their games (I also own the excellent Flash Duel and just got Yomi from a friend):

Flash Duel
Puzzle Strike (Shadows Expansion)
Yomi

And here is the link for the coupon: http://www.curebit.com/x/IZEqE

The coupon is good for about 3 days, so hurry!

Puzzle strike is one of my favorites.  Such a unique and fun game.

The rebate is supposed to be on my end.  Maybe I didn't do this right.

Hold on, I'm looking into it.

EDIT: Still looking.  They sent a response, but it didn't really clear things up.  It may, in fact, be a rebate, but one where you get it immediately.  Not sure what works better in this regard, PayPal vs Credit Card.

I've sent a follow up email, so we'll see.

EDIT 2 EDIT BOOGALOO: Well, this is the response I got:

Quote
So it can vary depending on how the merchant set it up.

Generally, you, the  Referrer only get your reward after your friend makes a purchase.  It's also quite common for your friend to get a coupon before they purchase if the incentive is for a monetary value, if the incentive is for a % then the reward will be either mailed as a discount coupon code on a next purchase, or it will be deposited cash into your PayPal account (if you dont have one then PayPal will hold your funds and ask you to create an account to claim your funds).  The reward will happen automatically as long as your friend purchases through your share URL.

Still not clear enough.  I don't know why they're not able to just tell me what the deal is with this exact scenario instead of giving me a direct answer, but the whole thing doesn't make me hopeful.

I have yet another email in to them.

I'm sorry this is so messed up.

EDIT 3 - THE EDITING:  Well, I'm sure everyone is champing at the bit for this deal now, but here's the final lowdown:

Quote
I took a look at Sirlin Game's campaign and I see that they have cash rebates for both parties.
So in order for your friend to redeem his offer:
1.)  Your friend will have to visit your unique share URL (this is very important, and this is what links him to you as a referral)
2.)  Your friend will click through from your link to the merchant's store and make a purchase.
3.)  After your friend completes a purchase, you and him both will be rewarded a cash rebate.
4.)  The merchant will have to verify your rewards and then it usually takes 14 days for the cash to show up in your PayPal account.
5.)  If you dont have a PayPal account or the funds are going to the wrong email address, PayPal will ask you if you want to sign up to claim funds, or if you want to switch email addresses.

No worries.  It wasn't the clearest deal in the world.
