today only, they have a selection of board games for sale; I can't comment on the prices because none of them are ones I have looked into buying.  I am tempted to grab a couple of pounds of dice though smile

I don't remember them doing this with board games before, maybe it is to celebrate GenCon.

I'm sure it's about GenCon.

The prices seem pretty good.  $10 for Forbidden Island is a steal.  There are a couple that are cheaper than I've bought them recently, so I'm kicking myself (Saint Malo being the most recent).

The only one I don't have that I kind of want is Castles of Burgundy. $22 is cheaper than on CoolStuffInc.  However, I don't know that I'd ever get to play it.  I've heard extremely positive things about it, but I'm not sure my daughter would play it.

Cool, I picked up Forbidden Island, Dominion, and Summoner Wars. Never played any of them but all supposedly work well 2 player and the wife and I are going to the beach in a week.

Would have gotten 7 Wonders, but everyone else already owns it... so no need.

I love Formula D. Coop at OO is a huge Zombicide fan. I have the Dominion Big Box and have enjoyed it. And The Resistance is kind of a pared down alternative to Werewolf.

Forbidden Island seems to work well with two players. I just snagged Zombicide, hoping it does as well.

Forbidden Island plays great with two players, but the sale is over now.

As such, I recommend the recently released Forbidden Desert over Forbidden Island.  The shifting sand mechanic is great, as is the new item location  system.  Plus the ship is really cool to put together.  Really it's an improvement in every way.
