This is 3 villagers dominating the conversation while the rest of us attempt to discuss things when able. It only took 52 total posts to get someone lynched? And it is only Day Two? Why the hurry? Thus the reason for my suspect list being the lynchers.

How did we not discuss and interact? I don't see that we are just throwing this game to the Wolves. Hell, newcastle got lynched on purpose, what were we suppose to do just ignore him? Then how bad would it look if he was a wolf and completely played us.
Did the entire village get to interact or only the folks who post in the day-time? I need to go re-read today's posts but most of them are CeeKay, you, and newcastle, with a few from envy24, and very little from everyone else. Someone volunteering to get lynched is not trying to help the village and, in most cases, is not going to be a wolf. Were he a wolf and had to leave the game for "meta" reasons, the other wolves would have him play the silent type and pm him if they needed him to post something. I know, this was unknown to everyone before he received the final vote, but it would have been nice to actually have the chance to comment on a potential lynching. A recent game on OO featured something like this where no one listened to the guy who kept saying - slow down. I was one of the non-listeners. The wolves won.

New threat matrix - which might change depending on what the wolves do..
This is in alphabetical order - no particular preference.
Bulletpig CeeKay envy24 Isgrimnur Moliere ravenvii rickfc My guess is two of the three wolves are in this group. When making a quick lynch, like today, which side does it serve? The villagers or the Wolves? Clearly, the Wolves, unless the villagers are playing an idiotic game of "reducing the pool" so their specials can find wolves easier, or something. Why does it favor the wolves? The quicker the game moves, the less information we villagers gather on our village, providing less opportunity for a wolf to make an error when posting, and providing less information for the Seer/Hunter to pick targets. Sure, it helps the Priest giving him dead guys to scan, but when they aren't wolves, it only furthers the wolves goal - to simply reduce the villages population. Hopefully, tomorrow will not be the rush to lynch-ville that happened today.

Well that sucks. Get one post in from my phone, do not even get to vote, and you all lynch a villager. Great! Now, I will probably get labeled as a wolf, because of my "posting" habits. To reiterate what was stated when this all started - No Gaming Trend at work, unless I can sneak outside with my phone, and I work 10 hour days. So very little posting, or even reading Gt, during the day, on most weekdays. Got off work early today, so actually hoped to see some discussion. Instead, it looks like we villagers (although not me this time) are throwing this game to the Wolves, instead of discussing, interacting, and trying to really find the the wolves.

I'm surprised by Isgrimnur not wanting to lynch the quiet guy. In very recent events, someone was questioned for being quieter than normal and wound up being one of the bad guys who won. Past performance are no guarantee of future results. And if that was the case, we'd be lynching Soulchilde the first round of every game he played. Even when he'd step up, we'd call him out for varying his behavior. Ah, well, how bad of me to forget the cardinal rule: "We lynch the quiet ones because they aren't helping."

Sports is the big thing I miss as well. I've been renting a room for a past few years and don't have cable in my room, though the house has it in the living room. Problem is that I rarely get to decided what's on in the living room. I don't really miss a lot, as I can pick up the major channels on the TV in my room, but screwing around with an antenna to get good reception is a pain. NBC is the hardest to get where I'm at and guess who's showing the NFL season opener on Thursday? And streaming the NFL is pricey. If you don't have to see the game "live", NFL Rewind is an option that is not that pricey. Streamed in HD. 39.99 for the entire regular season. Price will go up to 49.99 shortly. It also has every game archived from the past two seasons if you want to see old games. Unlimited access to watch all 2010 NFL regular season games Commercial-free broadcasts in HD-quality Complete DVR controls Fully indexed games - search for specific plays or moments Most important FAQWhen are new games posted to Game Rewind? Why isn't Game Rewind available during certain times of the week? New games are published to Game Rewind after the completion of the game(s) and will be available to Game Rewind subscribers by 6am EST the day after the game, except in the case of the Monday Night Football game which will be available by 12am EST the Wednesday following the game NFL Game Rewind Service is unavailable during the live broadcast of NFL games, and as a result the service will be unavailable during the following days and times during the 2010 NFL Regular Season (Sept. 9, 2010 to Jan. 2, 2011). Times of blackout are subject to change: Day Blackout Start Time Blackout End Time Sundays 1:00 pm EST 11:59 pm EST Mondays 8:30 pm EST 11:59 pm EST Thursdays* 8:20 pm EST 11:59 pm EST *All Thursday games broadcast on NFL Network
The following dates (subject to change) have unique schedule blackout requirements:
Day Blackout Start Time Blackout End Time Thursday, Sept. 9 8:30 pm EST 11:59 pm EST Monday, Sept. 13 7:00 pm EST 1:30 am EST (Tuesday Sept. 14) Thursday, Nov. 25 12:30 pm EST 11:59 pm EST Saturday, Dec. 25 7:30 pm EST 11:59 pm EST
There may be additional or different periods of unavailability for the NFL Game Rewind Service added throughout the season due to changes in game date and/or time. More details here.

three quick votes on Moliere? interesting... Seeing as he has not posted, (unless I cannot read), this is not that interesting. Standard Day One fare for those who have not spoken. I see no need to pile on...... yet. (Unless we have three wolves conspiring already - I'll stick with the vote on the one post - pick a person - and disappear guy as my target.

Just got online this evening... I have long workdays M-Th (5am-5pm) and cannot access GT at work, unless I go outside where my phone gets reception. Anyway.... I dislike folks who make the first accusation when we are all innocent villagers. Yes, I am talking about lynching Soulchilde. Especially the kind that make one post, like this one... Sure, Envy24, how was the meal?
..., and then, do not bother to follow up with any kind of reasoning why. Especially when someone is as talkative as Envy24 has been today. I take it he is normally a quiet one.

The most expensive shows I watch would be The Daily Show and Colbert Report. iTunes has them for $10 for 15 episodes. Between the two I would be paying over $20 a month to keep up with.
If you don't have to see it the day they air, both shows are available online for free. Sports would be the big issue. I follow the Premier League, NHL, and Formula 1. I can get all of the Premier League games online through Fox Soccer Channel online for something like $140 for an 8 month season. NHL (Avalanche) and Formula 1 would be much harder. Probably have to give up F1, which wouldn't be a big deal, and would have to watch the Avs in bars, also not a big deal.
NHL has a Center Ice online. The only games you don't get in the regular season are the Saturday games which conflict with NBC, Vs games, and games aired on the local sport channel. So you might be stuck going to the bar since almost every Avs game is aired via cable. (Luckily, I watch the Blues and don't live anywhere near St Louis, so it works for me). Lived without Cable for 7 years. Didn't notice it the 1st three due to being super busy. The last 4, had an apartment and discovered how much is available via streaming. This exploded in terms of content available the past 3 years. Since my work schedule does not usually let me watch stuff live anyway - Hulu's subscription service (free version) works fine for me. Most Hulu shows are available 7-8 days after the original airs, unless the show isn't getting good ratings (Haven), then they are available the day after they air. FX streams most of their shows, also time-shifted 7-8 days after the original airs. Watched Justified this way. But they only keep shows up for about 1 month after it's posted. Wish there was a better way to track when FX has new shows, but have not found a good option, yet. atdhe.net is good for lots of sports, but the quality leaves quite a bit to be desired. All of the F1 races show up via that site. This can also be used to circumvent the NHL blackouts, but, again, quality is always lacking. Currently, living with a couple in Jacksonville and they have DirecTV, so have not had to rely on the internet/go to the bar to watch college football games. It's feasible to live without cable/Direc TV, but it is not as good as having it. You just have to be willing to accept less quality for some things, pay for television shows if you want to see them when "new" instead of one week old, find and use the "free" subscription services (they really help keeping track of stuff for you), and have the patience to look for something if it isn't readily apparent where it is showing when looking for some sports stuff. If you are looking to save some cash, it works.

About the same as was lost on Ryan Leaf.
Leinart signed a 50.8M 6-year contract. Average salary was 6.75M/year with the higher annual salaries at the back end. Only 14M was guaranteed with ~12M of that as his signing bonus. The rest of the "guaranteed" part comes from meeting specific conditions. Next season, Leinart's salary was scheduled to increase to ~5M.
Cutting him now, the Cardinals save 2.485M in salary and don't have to worry about eating the rest of the signing bonus "against the cap" because there is no cap this season.
Since they paid him for 3 seasons, say his salary was the 2.485M for those three seasons. Let's be generous and give him the full 14M in guarantees. Works out to only paying 21.46M of a 50.M contract. Would not be surprised if this decision was more financially based than play based given the history of the Bidwill's and how much they love to keep their money.

Slogged my way through the first four. Had an immediate negative impression when the first meaningful statement from the WW guy is him emo-ing over tea. It did not improve for me. It's like a British Twilight without the glowing vampires and no consequences for the vampire walking around in the sun.
Modern pop cultures has ruined vampires and this series helped continue ruining them. Where is the negative to being one if there is no real impact on how you live your life other than having to suck blood occasionally?
For those that like watching emo over-acting - enjoy. It's not my cup of tea.

Ah...
So once again Danny Glover does not really act in a movie. He just whispers all of his lines. Seriously, go watch any of the Lethal Weapons and tell me how many lines he delivers without whispering? You could make a drinking game out of drinking every time Glover whispers in any movie he is in, but you will not get past the 30 minute mark of any of them.

2003 Focus SE
It hasn't changed much at all over the 7 years I've owned it.
25-28 mpg city 30-32 mpg highway
One thing I do notice is right around time to have the oil changed - the mpg will drop to the lower end of the range. So if I'm not paying attention to the mileage, it is a convenient reminder.
Only 56000 miles over 7 years is pretty good, considering the car has made 4 trips from VA to TX and back, plus the trip from TX to FL.

I'm not getting the World Cup news pic.
Take a closer look at the graphic on display. Now go look at a map of the world. I was looking too closely for some small detail and missed the big one. Der. There's that and it says a low of 49 but the current temp is 48. That's one inept news station. it could be the morning broacast What? You actually expect Chicago to have accurate news??
