Tiny Tina and Jack were a riot from Borderlands 2. If I had to pick anyone from The Walking Dead though it would have to be Kenny. Far Cry 3 looks to have some memorable characters so that might sneak in and claim this honor.

So I ran into the save game corruption bug. I was well into the game when it hard locked on a cinematic/loading-screen. Next time I booted up the game it said my save game file was corrupted. 360 version. Now I have to start all over from the beginning. Fantastic!

Just finished the last episode. The conclusion was simple yet powerful. What a great series this has been. Kudos to Telltale. Question for those who've completed it and watched through the credits:

Non-Gaming / Off-Topic / Bluetooth Speakers

I'm looking to get myself one of those nifty portable bluetooth speakers. I've been looking into and reading reviews on the following: - Bose Soundlink
- Jawbone Jambox (Big and small)
- Braven 650
Anyone have any personal experiences with any of these? Of course the best scenario would be me in a room listening to the both of them. Reviews I've seen are skewed more towards the Jambox if nothing for the more features it has (i.e. speakerphone which I won't be using anyway). I was also looking at Sonos speakers, which are wifi, not bluetooth. Thanks.

Why they decided to tuck away those terminals in the game also boggles my mind. The couple that I unlocked provided some pretty cool backfill story elements that helps flesh out the narrative.
The campaign itself was pretty good, but not as awesome as reviews made it out to be. By the end of the game I was pretty sick already of fighting the new enemies they presented. If I see another knight or annoying pack of skele-dogs, it'll be too soon. Fighting the same Covenant enemy types also grew pretty weary. I guess that probably says more about me and my fatigue with the Halo games than the game design itself though.

Some other complaints. This isn't just about this game as I felt the same way in Revelations - I find the whole wanted level mechanic to be tiresome now. Yes it was fun when they introduced it in either AC2 or Brotherhood, but now it's just a tedious exercise in finding whoever/whatever I need to lower it and hope the guards don't see me. It's just a waste of time that's not fun. On another note, I don't like the economy in this game AT ALL. I'm not interested in hunting, I don't like the Convoy/trading thing, etc. I'm just skipping the whole thing. I greatly preferred the buying shops mechanic to this. Brotherhood's was the most fun economic system by far, though I enjoyed AC2 in this regard too. I also am not into the naval battles like so many others seem to be. (I preferred Sea Dogs!) In fact, I am doing very little in the way of side missions at all. I think I just have AC fatigue with a lot of these things. Putting out a game every year does have its down side.
I agree. The whole "wanted" thing seems like a nuisance at this juncture. I also completely skipped over all homestead, hunting, convoy, courier missions, almanac pages, assassin's guild, naval battles and pretty much anything that wasn't the main story. I'm sure they put a lot of work into implementing all these subsystems to flesh out the world, but in the end they're all superfluous grindey fluff for completionists IMHO.

So I just finished the game (at 74% completion by the game's final tally). In typical Assassin's Creed style, the ending was a sprinkle of "huh?" and and dash of "WTF". All in all though it was pretty enjoyable to play in a more recognizable setting this time with the protagonist's tale playfully weaving itself into known historical events of America's birth and history. For about 90% of the game I pretty much just played through the main story missions. I had no inclination whatsoever to play through any of the side missions or other grindy superfluous supplementary stuff and other game subsystems. Didn't collect almanac pages, do Peg Leg's missions, did none of the homestead stuff, optional naval battles, courier missions, hunting, assassin's guild, etc. At some point the optional goals just became a joke as well. It didn't matter to me at all getting full synchronization or not. My complaints were that the combat still seemed kludgy as ever and there were way too many instafail rinse-and-repeat missions. The game is also buggy in spots where missions don't trigger when they're supposed to, interface quirks, convoluted mission objectives and the classic one of still inadvertently climbing things during a chase or running away when it's least convenient. So I'm putting this one in the bag, and right in time for Halo 4 coming up

I picked this up along with Sleeping Dogs, and honestly, I'm finding myself having more fun with Sleeping Dogs (I know, different type of game altogether). I'm just not finding the story interesting or compelling enough to continue, and being almighty Death and relegated to playing errand-boy fetching this and that is getting tiring. I think I'm about half-way through - 10.5 hours in.
The combat is also not that fun, especially with multiple enemies surrounding you. Like Turtle mentioned, when you lock onto one enemy, the camera pulls in for a cinematic view but it compromises you since other enemies outflank and charge attack you from off screen. I also wish Death had the ability to block. Being able to dodge is a huge help, but sometimes when there are multiple enemies surrounding you it'd be nice to just turtle and block attacks (like in GoW) so you can reset and reposition yourself.
The sluggish menu also isn't doing it any favors. I'm playing the 360 version.

I'd like to hear some impressions after you get it. I've looked at a bunch from Targus, Belkin, Kensington, Case Mate, Dodocase, Incase and Speck but can't decide on one yet.

I finally completed this today. The ending was .... yeah. I'm not quite at the internet rage stage of feelings about it, but it was definitely a disappointment. I'm gonna go back, replay it and let it sink in for a little while....

I stuck with the plain old default Shepard so luckily I haven't seen the import bug. It is pretty silly though to be chased out of a solar system by tiny reaper squid just for trying to scan a planet. Luckily once you've detected something and can start scanning they leave you alone.
They really should have added some kind of tab to help you track missions that are partially completed or still have to be turned in.

About 22.5 hours into the game and still really enjoying it. The fetch-questy Citadel missions are wearing pretty thin about now. I probably shouldn't have grinded a bunch of them this weekend.
The side missions, well mostly the Citadel stuff, is handled pretty randomly and awkwardly I think with your journal being updated with random conversations that you "overheard".
"Hi, I was traipsing around the galaxy fighting reapers and Cerberus and just so happened to find that thing you mentioned you needed as I ran right past you minding my own business trying to save the universe. Hope it helps!"
Imported my ME2 save without any issue. Still wish there were more dialogue interrupt opportunities. I'm about 75% paragon and 25% renegade as far as my meters go. I went full boyscout in the last game but I was finding I was using more and more renegade choices this time around.

I got bored halfway through the first one and never completed it. I played and enjoyed 2 and Brotherhood, but have no interest whatsoever in Revelations. The open world and traversal/climbing systems were well implemented and there was just enough story to keep me engaged with the gameplay, but I was just never really invested in the overall story they were trying to tell. The characters, the historical battles between assassins and templars and the whole abstergo meta-conspiracy just didn't do anything for me at all.

I'm glad Naughty Dog is doing it. Hopefully it doesn't end up like Dead Island where massive trailer hype led to a much less impressive final product.
