I always game with all the lights off and the shades pulled, so I've been loving my eclipse.

I would imagine the red lighting would make the letters and keys even more visible than they are in blue, so I'd say go for it.

This tv is strictly for gaming I have a 60 inch sony in the living room for watching movies sports  programing.

Just got home with my copy now to get owned by some fine female forms with jigglies.

I'm picking up a copy in about an hour suck at fighting games but bring it on online tagteam should rock.

I've been playing this game non-stop since I tried it very addicting in a hotshots type of golf kind of way.

I'm on it my fav arcade game of all time must of spent a fortune on this game in my youth.

Geometry Wars Evolved is great. I play that almost as much as I do PGR3.

Geometry Wars is like crack very addicting I've played it more than any of the launch games can't wait til they release robotron 2084 one of my all time favorite arcade games.

Yea should be no problem I work  for Ping on desert cove and 22nd ave so I go past glendale on the way home everyday anyways.

Dual Channel is a Motherboard function. I can take old DDR2100 RAM made before Dual Channel was available and run it in Dual Channel as long as the motherboard supports it...

Are you saying that you have 2 unmatched 512Mb sticks? In theory it's possible to get non-matched sticks to DC as long as they're the same size, but there's a large risk of instability and most boards won't even try it.

If you're looking to buy an additional 1gb of RAM, try to match the sticks you already have. General rule of thumb for any RAM upgrades, Dual Channel setup or not.

yea I was thinking of getting another gig of ram but the ram I have now I can't seem to get anymore I tried a gig of corsair but my system wouldnt even recognize it.

Yes, that is right. I just got back from Toys-R-Us. I happened to wander in last night (first time in years) and asked how many they expected to get. I have been trying to decide where I wanted to try and get one on release day. The super helpful employee (no, really he was) talked to his manager and found out that they were starting pre-orders today, but only 8 of them. So I went in and got number 2.

Only bad part of this is the bundles kind of suck. The one I got comes with the premium system, a wired controller and 3 games (Madden, NBA Live and Kameo).

The other bundle was the same but also came with PGR3 and Tony Hawk.

Battlefield 2 I have battlefront 2 for the xbox too my son has been wanting to try this game out now that he's burned out on wow.

I had almost exactly that right when I got BF2 - you'll run it fine, just probably at 1024x768 not 1600x1200.

No it will not. Only TVs that cost more than $10,000 are good gaming TVs.

Seriously though, that's the latest and greatest from Sony's mid-priced tellies (step below Qualia), and just about everyone who bought one has loved it. Some've said it equals, or is even greater than the Panny's plasma TVs in picture quality. Also, the shadow details are wonderful, rivaling that of CRT tubes.

So yeah, you should be good to go.

Hey it's not what you guys think my dad passed away last year and left my mom with a considerable amount of money and my mom is just trying to share the wealth with me and my sister and our families and her grandchildren because she had cancer about 8 years ago and her health is not that good and my father passed away last year of a sudden heart attack.

I just got this tv as an early christmas present will it be good for gaming?

aight.  This is what i drove, color and all, exactly, IRL and in game.  Any ideas for what'd make a really cool paintjob?  I've been looking but i'm stumped, i need ideas.



Right now i have it tuned out for C class championship as best as I can.  Been using Road Atlanta 2 to tune it and i've got it down to 1:11:334 on my best lap so far (in a c cup race, not test track) which was very close to "perfect for me" as far as driving goes.  Also set a 1:15:004 on Road Atlanta 2 on the test track for a first lap.  This game's really challenging.  I'm sure i'll be able to improve that time quite a bit more with more time spent tuning and practicing but its still pretty fast for the mazda 3 and extremely challenging to get that far.

I don't know enough to know whether you can actually possibly set the best time with any car or only certain ones.  It seems like almost everyone is driving the same cars in these events and it makes me wonder...thats for sure.  I would have thought i could get a Mazda 3 to go around the track as fast as anything else in C class though.  Maybe i'm just deluding myself and should stick to D with it after all...

My biggest tuning question is still where the differential should be set.

My current time falls worlds short of first place on the Road Atlanta 2 C championship race.  If i multiplied my best lap by 5 and added 6 seconds for the first lap i'd have a 6:00 race.  The current first place is some guy named Alba with 5.35.441.  Seems like an insurmountable gap at this point.

Anyone want help me out on my challenge to set first place with a mazda 3 on road atlanta 2 C cup?

I just bought a GeForce 6600 GT AGP the box says needs a 350w power supply my current computer only has a 300w I bought a 350w power supply when I was at the store picking up the card will my existing power supply run it or do I need to install the 350w?
