Looks good, but I think I'd be more excited if there weren't already 100 other hack 'n slash, Action RPGs and rogue-likes around these days.  You can't swing a dead elf without a new one coming along it seems.

One can say that for just about every game(just about). Every now and then gamers get hypnotized by playing video games.  It's like driving on the road to long. After awhile it's like your playing the very first road you turned on..  Then your next stop.... The twilight zone.

Looks like the old Taito game: Operation Wolf.  Just spoofed up a bit.  But then again, so is every shooter.

9  Gaming / Console / PC Gaming / Re: [PS4] Killzone Shadow Fall on: November 26, 2013, 03:44:30 PM
I think this game will be the game being played from the beginning of the PS4 to its end. I had so much fun playing multiplayer with KZ2 and 3.  Great times. For the most part good people to play with...

Wasn't there rumors a bit ago about them making a new Republic Commando game? They were getting the Unreal engine for something?

There have been rumours for everything,LOL

as said above

a new Jedi Starfighter game

a new Bounty Hunter game

a Wii Star Wars MMO

and now Jedi Knight 3

and then we have this list,to name a few

Star Wars Battlefront 3+4(cancelled)

SWBF Online(Cancelled)

The Force Unleashed 3(Cancelled,when a new president took over)

Imperial Commando:Republic Commando 2(cancelled)

Knights of the Old Republic III(Cancelled)

Giving this information. I'd say unless a project is completely finished. I'd stay clear of the rumors or loopy footage.
I personally, would of liked to see KOTORIII and SWBFIII.

Playing some classic games on emulators. Hitman absolution(again). Some indie games here and there. And my 20 minute fix of Counteract(though, I'm up to campaign 24 by now as the light team).

26  Gaming / Console / PC Gaming / Re: [E3 2012] Watch Dogs on: July 20, 2013, 02:15:51 PM
Graphics are great! But it's hard to tell how the game play will be.. Though, the premise sounds great. Just have to wait and see. icon_neutral
27  Gaming / Console / PC Gaming / Re: Grand Theft Auto V on: July 20, 2013, 02:11:11 PM
I don't know...tear They do this stuff all the time and it seems to be more of a rehash.  I liked GTA Vice City and GTA San Andreas(I felt that it was as far as they should've taken it game-play-wise).  And the last one went back to liberty city with a different character.  Roll Eyes I get the feeling that this will do for me what the others have already done. But that's me though.  I'm sure everyone else is gonna have ball. icon_wink
28  Gaming / Console / PC Gaming / Re: So No one was excited for Earthbound coming out yesterday? on: July 20, 2013, 02:01:59 PM
Wow, that's really classic looking. Reminds me of Zelda.
29  Gaming / Console / PC Gaming / Re: Fallout 4? on: June 20, 2013, 04:51:05 PM
I liked fallout 3 and the premise of an alternated timeline in human history(though weak at technological points in history).  I believe the DLC should've been free.  As far as a rumor or tweet about a new version of fallout, I'll believe it when I see it.  nod

1st of all....I asked this forum moderator if it was ok.  And patiently was sent a "yes" because of the content and genre of the subject matter(Though not analogous it does fit into the realm of fantasy). So, please don't get crazy with the post BAN or sarcasms paranoid.  It's only a conversation of what I've been experiencing in other circles that I wanted to share with people who might like these types of games.  Since this is GAMING TREND.

I found it interesting and posted my thoughts in the section that closely related to the topic of discussion on this site. NUFF said. Roll Eyes

BTW, I can't believe the first responses are RUDE and close minded people who curiously like playing D&D games. eek  icon_confused

>>>I don't complain about the little adverts on selling D&D pieces or going to this store or that store. You know! things that vaguely have anything to do with playing analog board games(Which were on paper a time a go and required none of it except die's and imagination).

Here's also some good advice.  Re-read the forum rules about politeness and "we're all a  GOOD community here".
That's written on the wall. I did when I signed up.  SO GROW UP.

@Farley2K: Thank you for your professionalism of handling this situation prior to the post.  But these people are ridiculous.  I can't believe the user count this site has.  Since, everything is an attack..  SHHSH. 'tarded!

Found this when looking for a simple based fantasy card game for my PC.  It's a little old school and it's not a dungeon crawler but I thought I'd send a shout out because I figured some D&D players might like this as an off and on time killer.

The game is called Counteract and the version I stumbled into can be found on this YouTube channel.

http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCVd-fArBLE5Gk4f88m0hWrg

At first I thought it was really complex. But it turns out to be a simple game of domination with game cards and a basic attribute system for each character.  It also, has a lot of little games in as well called trials.  The documentation explains a lot and the in game tutorial is fully detailed(might be a little to much for some).  But in the end it worked for me.  The thing that got me was the battle system POV. But I adjusted real quick to it and I am now on campaign 10. The game board plays like a classic arcade game where you have to interact with objects on the game board as well.  If you ever played the HTML based game card game called ELEMENTAL on the web or played Archon. You might like this.

BTW, its for Windows XP,7 for sure and FREE(no gimmicks attached). I don't know about windows 8. I don't have 8.
