Honestly, while the game mechanics are a little better, I still think Uncharted wins out in terms of better plot, better characters, better story, and way better environments.
But, Tomb Raider is good enough to stand on its own.
ya i'm only 40% through, but I can easily say Uncharted is loads better. TR3 is fun and probably my GOTY so far

I'm going to say that a 20 mission expansion is not worth the money. I paid for it, but I won't make the mistake on expansion 3. I'm enjoying it, but my gaming dollars are precious.
it's not an expansion. Don't know why people keep saying this... 20 missions is typically more missions you get in modern RTS games.

well, it was smoked and the heat source came from the fire box on the side.
Hmmm so no direct heat? Weird. How hot were you running? Personally I don't actually long smoke tri tip, so I don't have a ton of experience with it other than general experience with things I do smoke (ribs, shoulder, brisket, etc...). I was trying to keep it in the 220-240 range, but I kept overcompensating and was actually in the 270 range. Over time I'll get the hang of it on knowing how much fuel to use to maintain the heat.

The outside looked a bit dark than what my friend did with the same recipe. But it was pretty good. The outer part was a little crunchy (fat side) where his isn't. I think where I went wrong is I put it fat side down for 30 minutes and then flipped it for the rest of the time time 3.5 hours or so. I think next time I'm just leaving it alone. Everything else under the layer was great. I now need a meat slicer Overall turned out great! Not as good as my friends (who I think makes the best tri-tip I've ever had anywhere) but it was close. If there's too much bark, you probably had it too close flame. You want more of an indirect heat than a direct heat. well, it was smoked and the heat source came from the fire box on the side.

Yeah, Origin is a huge turnoff, as is the EA connection and the threat of Sims-style expansion pack overdosing. I'm still super excited for my copy to arrive, though.
Do you hate Steam as well? It's the same damn thing. I don't understand the hatred. They both do their jobs. Steam has had problems with unlocking games as well. It's the reality of PC games these days.

It all goes back to the Horse Armor. The people who bought this micro transactions back then told publishers that gamers are willing to spend money on stupid shit on things that should already be in the game. So don't blame EA/Activision or other publishers, blame ourselves.

I thought this was a fantastic episode. Best of the season, or at least this half of the season. More character stuff than we've had in a long time. Michone finally got developed a bit, and it was a nice way to bring her into the fold more.
Plus it was really nice to get away from the Governor and Andrea.
ya that was an awesome episode. Always enjoyed the actor who played Morgan. 3 weeks in a row of great tv.

The thing for me about the cars isn't the gas, it was how spotless the truck was when Glenn was getting ready to drive away. All the characters look like they haven't seen a shower in a year but the cars look like they just came off the lot.
The blatant car sponsorship on the show can be really funny, especially when the cars are showroom pristine, as you mentioned. One of the motorcycle companies should sponsor Daryl's bike. Scratch that, I just looked at some pictures of his bike and I forgot that it has a big SS symbol on it. Well the car that Andrea drove back to Woodbury was dirty as can be

ouch, 5-6 hours is way too short for full price for me. especially considering how long Crysis 2 was. btw, Kotaku gave this a "no buy" recommendation. too many bugs, inconsistent gameplay, and a step down from #2.
That's not saying much because Crysis 2 was horrible. AI was incredibly stupid I just gave up.

Is that flash of light to the left of the stadium a generator blowing up? It's from Candlestick from last year against the Steelers. I believe 2 generators blew up that night. More importantly, we beat the Steelers that night

and lame holding no call on the safety.
The result of which would have been...a safety. I think he means the safety should have been flagged for a holding call. I think on replay it showed both were performing pass interference. Good no call. No, Gratch is right. But at least there would have been a little more time Which I also believe it wouldn't matter. I just merely pointing out the inconsistencies that I saw in officiating. Many people I've talked to who had no stake in the game saw the same things. But at the end, the niners dug themselves in too deep to get out of

Lame pass interference no call in the endzone and lame holding no call on the safety. But niners put themselves in this situation in the first half and letting Jones score on the kickoff

I hear there's some football game on Sunday. It's supposed to be the only one on for a while, so I'll probably watch that.
Other than that, I want to get back into Wargame: European Escalation and am playing Dirt 2.
Yep! And my Ravens are on the Super Bowl, so I'll be watching!!! I so wanted to edit this... Yep! And my Ravens are on the Super Bowl, so I'll be watching them lose!!! But I didn't want to abuse my powers
