West Brom got robbed. Bullshit!

Norwich won though.

What about Lloris getting knocked out and staying in the game? That would no longer be acceptable in the US.

That was a tremendous conclusion at the Chelsea vs. Man City match. Indecisive with my feelings of the result but it was exciting.

They are doing something right at Southampton. I enjoy watching them play. Keep it up for another 6+ months.

Nice to see Newcastle to get a point from Man Utd at Old Trafford. Disappointed by Norwich but they were truly outclassed today.

It was Southampton who got the point at OT,Newcastle were able to get the point from Liverpool who drew with them 2-2

Its Manchester United's Worst start since 1989 icon_lol<<I don't know why i put that smiley there,it should be  icon_mad or  crybaby
You are course, correct. Got my hated red kitted teams mixed up. Kudos to both Newcastle and Southampton.

Some have said that Moyes can only manage a 5th place team, and that is where Man U is headed. If that is indeed the destination, how long will Moyes be there? Until Jan 1?

Really? I guess when you walk onto the pitch and take the abuse from the fans, you know the end is near. Chairmen pull the trigger too quick.

I was questioning the reasoning behind featuring the Crystal Palace/Sunderland match on TV, but easily was the best match of the weekend. I want to go to Selhurst Park now. That place just looked insane from the pre-match through the very end. I hope they can stay up.

And Rebecca Lowe is a Crystal Palace supporter.

I think because US national (and probably the 2nd best American player aliver) Jose Altidore plays for Sunderland. That's 2 weeks in a row they put Sunderland on in the US. Not a team you'd figure to see on, really. Sadly, Altidore was out for the game.
And then the official disallowed the goal by Altidore in the game against Arsenal. Easily the worst call of the season so far. Everyone was perplexed and it was evident the official did not get the message. I bet he got a talking to.

Ozil certainly had an impressive debut. Let's see how he does against a team that will close him down and rough him up.

I found many issues with Master Chef, but the one I hated the most was the way they had Ramsey creating drama with the announcements of winners and losers. All the competitors were cooks but none were chefs, so how can this be Master Chef? Top Chef is the better show.

Once Jesse was eliminated, I could care less about the show crybaby

That makes sense. Guess we are going to be seeing a lot of Sunderland this season just like Tottenham.

Really? Even with the apparent collapse of Minnesota, I would still take them at the Dome against the Pack. Unless it was the NFC Championship game, and lets be honest, neither team will get that far.

Mike Shanahan to coach the Redskins in 2010?

Thoughts Redskins fans?  I'd say anything is better than Jim Zorn, and Shanahan is one hell of an upgrade.  Perhaps this could be the start of a potential turning point in what has been a number of difficult seasons.  Shanahan did some great things in Denver and if he's given an opportunity to make some changes in Washington I think it can be a good move.

Well, the first and most important step was Snyder firing Cerrato.  I mean Cerrato "resigning," and replacing him with Bruce Allen.  We'll see if this means that Snyder is going to step a bit back from the franchise (as all Skins fans hope he does).  I can't imagine that Shanahan and Allen would agree to work for Snyder in "hands-on" mode, however.  So it could be a VERY good thing smile
I heard Shanahan going to Dallas after Dallas is eliminated from post-season contention.

This is nothing like Titanic.  There's a love story, but it's not nearly so sappy, and you get to watch the awesome scenery while it's happening.
The things I found the most intersting about Titanic was the scenery and the recreation of the ship. Too bad it took 3 hours to get through it all.

I said this in the OO thread. If you get roughed up like that and no penalty is called, come up swinging. No use laying there.

You realize if you come up swinging and you're caught doing it and not the other player, you get red carded and booted from the game, right?
That does not matter if you are not the best player on the team. It will make the thug think the next time though.
That does explain why everyone falls down like a bunch of pussies.

It does matter, since you'd be putting your team a man down the rest of the game.  Red card = ejection, and you can't replace the player.

Stupid sport icon_smile.

I don't understand why the packer fans were booing Favre.  He made that team a sucess the last 12+years.  Yes he left and played for other teams, but so do other players.

Jerry Rice left to play the Raiders, and when he came to SF he'd get standing ovations.  Favre should get the same respect.
They are cheeseheads. That explains it all.

I thought there were a couple folks in the upper seats when I came in, but when I left midway for a restroom visit I noticed nobody was there. Kind of weird. It made me wonder -- do they have to show the film even if literally nobody is in the theater for a given showing?
I don't think they have to run the movie. My local theater does not. I only go to the late showings on a weekday during the school year. That way there will not be any screaming kids or teenage never-do-wells in the theater. I have walked in there many a time and they show what ever movie I want to see, as long it is not already running, for my personal viewing. That is how I watched Star Wars I,II, and III, and a half dozen other movies over the years. I feel like Howard Hughs in my own private large theater away from the masses icon_biggrin.

In one of the early Mythbusters episode where they tried to blow over a car with a jet, had an Intrepid for the sacrifice car and they made a comment about taking the wheel off to change the battery. I remember this because I had an Intrepid about that time but thankfully I never had to do anything with the battery.

A new patch was released a week or two ago. I came back to this game and I am enjoying it very much. I did some research and picked up some recruiting tips so I can now be competitive in Dynasty mode. I have won the Big 10 title 2 times and the BCS Championship once in the 6 dynasty years I have been playing. I can at least get in the top 15 in recruiting classes which is good for me. It may be time to increase the difficulty. There are still issues with the game. The CPU offense still snaps the ball too fast. Sliders are still fubar and make little sense on how they work. Progression has largely been fixed so the number of 99 rated players are less numerous. If they could just fix the sliders and slow the game down a few seconds at pre-snap, this would be an awesome game. And bring back custom playbooks. Why does every school's playbook need 5 shotgun formations when just about every player only uses 2 of them or the same 2 plays from each of them?

Once Upon a Time in the West has Henry Fonda playing a creepy bad guy. Also Charles Bronson, Jason Robards with a gorgeous Claudia Cardinale perfecting the art of showing cleavage. One of the best westerns.

I also watched Cougar Town. Horrible.

If there ever was a movie franchise in need of a reboot, it is Indiana Jones. Put Harrison Ford out to pasture already.
