Outlook replaced Hotmail a few months ago and i loved Hotmail nothing wrong with it IMO,i hate Outlook with a passion
Why do Microsoft continue to piss me off??
again today "We can't connect to Outlook at the moment. Please try again later."...annoying as hell, can't look at my emails, can't send any, nothing
they could've at least given us an option to go back to hotmail,my Hotmail account is and has been my main email account for 10 years and never had any problems...all my friends, websites, job applications are connected to my hotmail address and they change everything to outlook
and its just so shit
so,is it just me?
I have started to cross over to my Yahoo account, but don't really want to send out emails everywhere saying i have changed email addresses..i want my hotmail back!!

-If you were playing DDDA, did the issue occur with save data imported from DD1? which makes it sound like they are not so definite anymore. MO is on those forums, maybe he has seen something different. hUh?..oh,yeah i am on those forums, however Mad Men has caught me so i have not played the game or been anywhere near those forums for the past 4-5 days (just finished season 2,really good) EDIT: reading through this thread that may of been posted it looks, like playing offline is still the answer for now for those worried..again,i am online but not had any problmes but started from scratch on another profile http://www.capcom-unity.com/dragonsdogma/go/thread/view/122057/29888091/warning-failed-to-save-game?pg=6Posted by Henry I've been playing with my 360 unplugged and works just fine, I have 3 gametags each with new games uncorrupted that haven't been played plugged. I have one main game and the other two are just for trying out stuff like character creation. If I plug in my internet I soon get a failed save, usually heading for or in the Encampment. I guess after I get the Cassardis Pawn, I haven't tried staying away from the gate and Pawn to see if I get a corrupt just in the village. Posted by Ken so this crap just happened to me again..i broke down and decided to give it another shot today..started a new character..put in the original dd and played till i reached the encampment and as soon as i go to make my pawn i noticed "FAILED TO SAVE GAME!!!" played a good three hours..needless to say and not i guess that it matters..im freakin pissed..im so sick to death of this crap..good on you ****..good on you..
one thing i did notice though is once it went to autosave after id been playing a while and it prompted me to choose a save location which i had already done..so yeah i have a corrupt save on my hd and on a flash dive..

Non-Gaming / Off-Topic / [Movie]The Toxic Avenger-Reboot..WITH ARNIE!!
|
on: May 14, 2013, 12:21:08 PM
|
Strange news of the day,Arnie is in talks to headline a new Toxic Avenger movie http://www.aintitcool.com/node/62402But Variety just dropped a bombshell today - Arnold Schwarzenegger is currently in talks to headline the reboot of THE TOXIC AVENGER, with Steve Pink (HOT TUB TIME MACHINE) and Daniel C. Mitchell's script, to be produced by Elysium Films, Akiva Goldsman, Charlie Corwin, Michael Benaroya, and Richard Saperstein. Arnold won't be playing the famed 98-pound-weakling turned monstrous superhero (although that would be a truly strange and inspired choice) but another lead role in the production.
This looks to be, at the very least, a bigger budgeted film than the original, but that wouldn't be too difficult, considering they weren't made for much. But if Schwarzenegger isn't Toxie, who is? And what role will Arnold play? I'm thinking perhaps the villain, but we won't know that for a while.

really its been 6 weeks since this thread had been posted in?-yes,it took me ages to find it anyway Sony insider-no delay for Europe and the PS4Sony Computer Entertainment has determined Europe a high-priority territory in the next gen sales race and will ensure the PS4 launch is not delayed into 2014, CVG has learned. But an insider involved with PlayStation's business strategy now expects Microsoft will make more aggressive advances into Europe as it fights for market dominance.
The source told CVG that Sony, having learned hard lessons from the 360's first-mover advantage, will renew efforts to maintain its success in the region. Despite the neck-and-neck global lifetime sales of the PS3 and Xbox 360 (both edging towards 80m units), the geo-breakdown of those numbers shows that Xbox's main business is in the US (40m) and UK (8m); two areas where it has been consistently dominant.
While PlayStation is hardly an insignificance in those two countries (about 25m sales in the US and 5m in the UK), it balances that with a healthy business across Japan and other parts of Europe. Although the chances of Xbox succeeding in Japan remain slim, its position across Europe could feasibly be strengthened. US and Europe priority over "Safe" Japan With Sony expecting Microsoft to tackle Europe more aggressively, CVG has heard from a company insider that PlayStation is "prepared to do whatever it takes" to ensure there is no PS4 delay across Europe.
It remains unclear whether there will be a PS4 supply shortage that would affect its output across any of the main three markets, but CVG understands that, if the launch stock is tight, the US and Europe will be the priority over the perceivably "safe" region of Japan. All interesting stuff, but take note all this is not official, just from a apparent Sony insider..but it certainly will be interesting to see Microsofts plan

|

Ha,you could look into this soooo many ways they have now launched an actual kickstarter(because of demand apparently) and extended the date http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/617502838/shadow-of-the-eternalsEurogamerThe ex-Silicon Knights devs at Precursor Games have added an actual Kickstarter to supplement its Shadow of the Eternals crowdfunding campaign.
Previously, the Eternal Darkness spiritual successor only accepted donations through its official site. Those who donate that way will receive an exclusive "Whateley Expose," a digital collection of lore, manuscripts and clues from the clandestine Order of the Unseen.
Precursor also bolstered its event tiers so that the $100 Magikal Supporter reward now contains a digital art book and the Insane Supporter $5000 tier (which one person had claimed) now allows such generous backers the ability to contribute to the game's sanity events, artwork, music and storyline.
So why the Kickstarter? Precursor claimed it's "due to overwhelming popular demand," though one suspects the developer is struggling to meet it's goal with only $170,255 of its $1.5 million goal funded between both crowdfunding sites, and the Kickstarter's 19th June deadline is a couple of weeks later than the 7th June one on the official site, giving the fledgling dev more time to meet its goal.

Final Fantasy XIII-2:Digital Contents Selectionseems its Japan only at the moment, hopefully it will come to our shores as well as i have yet to pick this up In Japan, Square Enix just announced Final Fantasy XIII-2 Digital Contents Selection for the Xbox 360 and the PS3. According to Square Enix, the version is FFXIII-2 plus a selection of the game's post release DLC items. Packed in an original box, this version goes on sale July 18 in Japan. As someone posted on Kotaku, why not just release a GOTY style edition..why a selection of the games post release stuff? This is the list of DLC currently available for FFXIII-2,lots of outfits, accessories and weapons http://finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_Final_Fantasy_XIII-2_Downloadable_ContentHopefully this new edition will focus on the scenarios DLC,rather than that other crap The combined cost of all DLC is 5440 MSP for the Xbox 360, and about $67 for PS3.

EurogamerAcclaimed GameCube and PS2 role-player Tales of Symphonia is to be re-released on PlayStation 3, a new report suggests.
The Tales of Symphonia: Perfect Edition pack will also include the game's Wii-exclusive sequel Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World. Both games will feature jazzed up HD visuals.
Tales series boss Hideo Baba teased the Perfect Edition to Spanish site Koi-Nya, and said it would be "a representation of the dreams and hopes of the fans, who have long been wanting it".
Tales of Symphonia scored an impressive 9/10 upon its 2004 GameCube release.
"It may be clichéd, and altogether a little too bright and happy for its own good, but Tales of Symphonia is nonetheless epic, enjoyable, and superbly constructed," Rob Fahey wrote, "and deserves an audience far in excess of merely the hardcore JRPG fans who will undoubtedly snap it up with glee." I gotta try this game out,so...

so where the film has been released, how's it doing compared to the first film? hollywoodreporter.comIn those markets where Star Trek films have seen their strongest business -- U.K., Australia and Germany -- aggregate grosses for Into Darkness were 56 percent ahead of Abrams' 2009 reboot.
The real test for Paramount came in Mexico, New Zealand and German-speaking Switzerland, where the space-set franchise has never been especially popular. The results: Into Darkness paced 250 percent ahead of the 2009 film.
Mexico was of particular importance, since sci-fi isn't a favored genre there (it's also one of the biggest markets for 3D fare). Into Darkness took in a stellar $3 million from 573 locations, triple the opening of the 2009 film...
...The U.K. led with $13.3 million from 556 locations, 50 percent better than the 2009 reboot. Into Darkness also dominated the market in Germany, grossing $7.6 million from 627 locations, 80 percent better. Australia took in $5.5 million from 263 locations, 50 percent ahead of the 2009 movie.

There are two side quests,I can't remember what they are called but one needs 5 kept sour Ambrosial Meat and another needs 10 kept giant fish Now the Sour Ambrosial meat can be found in a crate half way through the ancient quarry,or you can get a random drop from enemies, but you have to keep it in your inventory until it goes sour, unlike the one you find in the quarry which respawns every few days already sour for you The fish can be found best on the shores of the beaches in the south,Bloodwater beach is a good one(i find my Pawns are best at getting Giant Fish while i picked up small and large that are not needed,so i just lead them to the areas and let them do the picking up) However,as the fishes and the meat needs to be 'kept',you need an Airtight Flask(combine an airtight flask with the meat or fishes),in the original Dragon's Dogma, you could buy these Airtight Flasks...but not in DDDA I made this post on 360a.org if any of you are having trouble finding any Cassardis Area
Unusual Beach-the beach between Cassardis and The Encampment,A little inlet about halfway down the beach on your left(with cassardis behind you) before the exit off the beach, you will find it
Cassardis beach-washed up on the shore, half buried in the sand, in between the dock on the left and Starfall bay on the right
Cassardis market stall-with the Inn behind you its on the left hand side stall outside amongst the produce that they sell(the produce itself, fishes etc can not be picked up)
Bluemoon Tower passage area
Bandits den-near where you fight a Golem,go into the doorway/cave and go upstairs until you are at the top outside with another small Bandit camp,Flask is beside the campfire
Cutless Cape-passageway before getting to the area of the Golem,go downstairs to a series of Jail cells and Skeletons,Flask is in one of the cells that does not need a key(as it has no door)
Gran Soren
Gran Soren Castle-Step into the castle, but before going through the second set of doors(to where the Duke is sat on his throne),go left and follow the tight corridor and you will see a flask on top of a crate
These are the locations i know of,take note that the flasks respawn after a lengthy amount of time
I believe some are in Bitterblack Isle also, but i have not started the Dark Arisen part of the game yet

|
on: May 12, 2013, 10:13:10 AM
|
seems i am late to the party knowing about this, like 3 years too late(first mentioned) This is from last August Today, in a conversation with GQ, Keanu Reeves (Ted) offered a few more plot details regarding Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon 's script.
"One of the plot points is that these two people have been crushed by the responsibility of having to write the greatest song ever written and to change the world," the actor explains. "And they haven't done it. So everybody is kind of like: 'Where is the song?; The guys have just drifted off into esoterica and lost their rock. And we go on this expedition, go into the future to find out if we wrote the song, and one future 'us' refuses to tell us, and another future 'us' blames us for their lives because we didn't write the song, so they're living this terrible life. In one version we're in jail; in another we're at some kind of highway motel and they hate us." This is from March just gone, and even mentions Bill and Ted 4 and 5 So far the series has not been named numerically. There was Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure and Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey. It follows that the third film would have a clever name, one that would hint at its plot. Winter confirmed that it had a title more specific than Bill and Ted 3, but no more than that. “I can’t give that away,” he said. I clarified, it has one, but he can’t reveal it. “Exactly,” Winter confirmed. “There may be a third, fourth and fifth thing,” Winter said. “We live in a multi-platform world. I’m going to leave it at that.” "thing","Multi-Platform"?..TV?,Video games perhaps? I went to the cinema to see Bogus Journey and for what they were at the time,i enjoyed them both...not sure i want to see two near 50 year old Bill and Ted however(Keanu is 48 and Alex is 47)

http://www.aintitcool.com/node/62368CBS say No CBS is not taking its “Beverly Hills Cop” pilot to series, despite the reported on-screen participation of Eddie Murphy and Judge Reinhold.
CBS had to outbid rival networks to get the pilot, and now it will likely be shopped to other channels.
Writer-producer Shawn Ryan (creator of “The Shield,” “Terriers,” “The Chicago Code,” “The Last Resort”) was masterminding the project, which centers on Axel Foley’s son Aaron (“Percy Jackson” vet Brandon T. Jackson), a Detroit police detective who finds himself lured by a lead to a wealthy corner of Southern California.
Barry Sonnenfeld (the “Men in Black” movies) directed the pilot.
Others in the pilot’s cast include David Denman (“The Office”), Sheila Vand (“Argo”), Christine Lahti (“Chicago Hope,” “Hawaii Five-0”) and Kevin Pollak (“A Few Good Men,” “Cop Out”).
CBS announces its fall schedule Wednesday.

if you look through the thread I linked to the big problem is that it doesn't matter whether or not you start a new game, something is messing around with the save system itself. it sounds like staying offline fixes it, but then you really don't have access to pawns.
If that is the case, for those waiting,if you do take the leap and try it out, copy your game save to a flashdrive and then either play your old game save or start a new game....if it does fuck up,you'll still have that back up As said,Capcom are going to be ages, and even when they have finished, the patch then has to go to MS for certification that can take an extra couple of weeks (maybe copy your game save to the flash drive every night)
