one thing about these new maps is that they change in size,depending on how many players you have...not sure whther i like that idea or not,we'll see how it works out

only street fighter 2 has made me buy instantly,an i was a little dissapointed....bloody noisey elephants,and my lack of skill

doom was a title i always wanted,but i only just got it the other day,bit gutted with the screen resolution and the slowness of the game

The next Wii game I'm interested in is Metroid or Mario Galaxy, which ever manages to be released first, and who knows how long that will be.

Thankfully the DS is loaded all year long and will keep me entertained while I wait for those must have games on the Wii.

yeah the DS has quite a few final fantasy titles coming out(also for GBA but i use them on the DS)...starfox came out on friday as well for the DS(starfox command)...looks okay,and i liked the ones on the SNES/N64

as for the Wii....only the VC titles are keeping me turning the machine on every friday(i'll be starting metal gear solid :twin snakes backward compat on it soon though )

yesterdays papers here in the uk,announced that we are paying an extra £122 than the US...the price in the US for our pound would be £303...we have to pay £425...so yeah..an increase for us as well.....we usually pay an extra 17.5% anyway because of tax...so,anyway...£303 would be a good price for us(360 premium is £280)...i would get one then

played mario kart 64,.....i think i was expecting the mario kart that i have on GBA,but thats super circuit or something like that...but this one is even better,i forgot about this one...i did have it for the 64,looks quite good still

here in the UK,our VC titles are just a little different than yours...but not that different,and i was expecting to get zelda:a link to the past today(our VC titles come out on a friday)...but,a little pissed off,it wasnt on there

for me,it was on xbox1 called armed and dangerous,a lucasarts game,it got bad reviews here but i got it and loved it,it was also funny as hell(as with most lucasarts games=monkey island)

no,you cant assign them or anything,not that i know of...but say,you are in a gang fight,and they are passing in thier car,they will stop and help out by shooting at the gangmembers...and they actually hit them as well

other times you will be going around the streets and the cops will already be fighting with some gang members....then thats up to you if you want to stop to help

i thought the counter started at 30 minutes when you take on the first boss...or something...before then,the counter didnt show up at all

i just played it again,and after you get to level 2(2 stars or something)...that is when you have the 30 minute countdown(it starts then),so as long as you explore and dont shoot or collect things,you could have as long as you want( i guess in theory)


i am hoping there are more things to do round the city,i have seen races...hopfully there will be more stuff like that

having some trouble on the targeting(by pressing LT)..when i have killed someone and i repress the target button to kill someone else,it keeps locking onto the dead body i have just killed


there is also a timer,i think from when you kill the first ganglord/boss..or at least i only noticed it from then..(30mins)

anyway got my agility and strength up,and i am jumping about all over the show now....oh and playing baywatch on the beach...what with the running an all

funny i have just started replaying godfather on 360,as when i bought it i put the disc in for an hour and that was it

i am really enjoying it,i love the movies so this is great seeing both scenes from the films and scenes that are inbetween..the cutscenes are great and the character models spot on,unfortunately though al pacino was doing scarface game at the same time( i also heard he wanted a shit load of money)so they got someone else in to model for the part of michael,but it still works

new york city,although a bit drab,is still great and big. stay away from the crap EA microtransactions(get the free one though)
someone said it isnt that much different from the xbox 1 version,only with a few more missions...i guess the graphics are prolly better(but i wouldnt be suprised with these graphics on an xbox 1)


just cause is also a great game....the island(s) is really,really big...and of course,you have the freedom of the skies when you take an airplane of chopper into the air.......i dont know but taking a plane to its highest peak,and jumping out,just to hear the calm as you fall..is pretty eerie..and the draw distance is good when falling

some of the achievements are quite interesting to get as well(1000ft base jump thing i am thinking off)

okay,i have just downloaded this demo,took two hours,LOL...its 1.24 gig,and with everyman and his dog downloading it at the same time,thats why it was so long to download

the game is pretty good,took a few minutes to get it together and figure what the fuck was going on,the streets are pretty chaotic...but its a pretty tight game...decent difficulty(i had it on tough...the easier of the 3 difficulty levels)

the city is pretty well detailed and really big,and thats just the part where you play inthe demo,the whole map looks massive(prolly not san andreas massive,but still big)

the story is,is that you are a cop,and as said the streets are kinda in riots,with gangs popping up everywhere,you are not alone though,there are plenty of other cops about

you level up,so to speak by shooting the bad guys,you get orbs from them and they automatically zoom to you when you have killed someone(like devil may cry if you want),after killing a few dozen i levelled twice,and my shooting became much better,i am only guessing that your athletics will improve as well(as you cant jump as far as you can on the trailers)

there are quite a few characters to choose from as well....maybe 8 or 9...not sure what if anything the difference is,no doubt there will be

you start off in the police station,if you want to call it that,in the garage and you can choose your vehicle....2 seater,4 wheel drive etc...then you drive out of the garage ,jumping out,like the batmobile exiting the batcave,the driving wasnt that bad,but i kept trying to angle the camera so i could actually see if anything was in front of me...hopefully i will get more used to that as time goes by...anyway i soon ditched the car..and proceeded on foot

there are a number of obsticles(SP?)you can pick up and throw...cant really say i tried it that many times though...i had a gun!!!

seems the main aim of the game is to liberate the police supply depos scattered throughout town that have been taken over by the gangs...then there is like an easy way of getting around the town through the depos

the gangs are indicated by what looks like a big yellow P...which in my mind stands for PUNK...(make my day,LOL)

and when you die,if you die,you regenerate at a supply depot...that you have liberated,the chief talks to you though ...i dunno,walkie talkie or ear piece..and says something about its okay if you die because you have clones...yeah whatever george lucas!!

plenty of weapons to pick up when the enemy has been killed,and then if you take that weapon to a supply depot,it will become a choice of weapon later on

anyway,i am enjoying the demo,and look forward to buying it

well they have taken the pack of the marketplace now incase anyone else does download it

we get a few posts on xbox.com telling us mainly the same thing(working on it,and working closely with microsoft)..but they said they will next update us on monday...so why its taking so long,some really BIG pile of shit must of hit the fan...mybe they have to start the maps of from scratch,i dont know,hopefully this can be a warning to Treyarch and future developers and even microsoft..as all things on the marketplace are meant to be tested at first...doesnt look like the case this time

as much as i would like to click on final fantasy 12..it hasntt been released here yet(our magazines have given it 10/10 though)

gears of war was okay,but the story wasnt long enough(or gave anything away about emergance day)

zelda is what i clicked on...47 hrs it took me to complete,and i enjoyed every minute

yeah that was 1200 points and had some known maps but in the dark(as well as other stuff i think)...i actually bought the game after that pack came out and was gonna pay for the pack...but didnt like the game...maybe when i try to get into it again...maybe....doubt it though


well,just got back in from work....and there is still no progress on the COD3 maps...they have said that the maps we have downloaded,are not valid maps...so we will be downloading a new map pack...if and when they are available.(i heard splinter cell had a similar problem in the past and took a month to fix!!)

my concern is,that if the map pack i downloaded,isnt valid,how will they know who paid and who didnt...i know its on your account...but how will that come accross when downloading the new pack?...because i am not paying again!!!

all in all...as you can imagine,i and many others ,especially on xbox.com...are pissed

triggers,mean more comfortable for your index fingers...analogue stick placements(think nintendo got there first with that part though...not sure,maybe xbox 1).

but to note i also preferred xbox 1 small controller over the duelshock(not the first xbox 1 controller though)..again it was the triggers and analogue sticks on that
