virtua tennis 3 demo has just arrived on the marketplace at 800 or so MB

i am downloading it now...taking a while

i was gonna buy this game(due a week today,for me)...as i was dissapointed at TopSpin2,the magazines here have given it around 85%..short single player they said

i am gonna see how it plays,and then decide.....games are so much easier to decide to buy or not when there is a demo involved

we got ice climber,splatterhouse and teenage mutant ninja turtles(the nes one)

with the recent rumour that gears of war has racked up 4million copies and is on its way to knocking halo 1 from its spot(and then onto Halo2)...i think its time MS put some loose change together to purchase Epic,even though i thought GoW was good..not megatastic like everyone says,i do see what the title has done for MS

as for comments about sony,i think he is right that sony ARE still the one to beat,but things still change....nintendo had the number 1 spot for a long time for 10 years or so,and sony have ,to be fair had the number 1 spot for 10 years..or prolly more....i still think that there is room for all 3...none of them have 'done a SEGA'...even though nintendo was rumoured awhile ago to be doing it,thankfully not doing

sony may still be the ones to beat,but this time round i think its gonna be a much more even race/war...for nintendo its the compatibilty for their games with the Wii-mote i think ...and for sony and MS its exclusive games...IMO anyway

for some reason it gives you infinite lives,which is good,as i would never of got through the game with 3 lives or even 10 lives for that matter,some of the end of level bosses were a pain

and yes,i stand corrected...leonardo was/is the best

i have a few friends who are gonna play a co-op game with me,so hopefully i can get a few more achievements instead of just the 1 that i got

there are 5 stages altogether...must of took about 20-25 minutes and 30 or so lives to finish,LOL


400 points is proberbly the right price,i dont think i would of got this if the price was any higher

the TBC 18 certificate is very interesting as well...being an 18 would make it pretty violent,and up there with most of rockstars titles

okay,broken 50 hrs gameplay now,done a few more things storywise

went to the bunnygirl village,then went to the henne mines,fought Tiamat

the gang then decided that they needed to go to mt bur-omisace,so went through the rest of the jungles,fought a big plant boss called elder wyrm...oh and fought an Esper as well(looked a bit like shiva,but chained up!!)

got to the chapel,with a lot of deadbeats hanging about...went wondering about in this other place to get a sword of kings or something like that(had to mess about with statues.rotating them for ages),came back and fought judge....er...begran i think...he was so very easy,as soon as the fight started,i did a 10 chain of quickenings,and when it was finished...so was he,apparently he had helpers with him,but i didnt see them,but he never laid a finger on me anyway

i am now on the way to arcadia,through some highgrounds or something(some windshrines are at a save point in the middle)

got about 13-14 hunts done,have another 10 or so activated

all my team are level 37 i think

still loving the game,missing larsa now that he isnt in my team anymore,he was great with the hi-potions

the story is still so-so,maybe a bit to political for me(i never went to college!!)

the link in the first post says that the new 360 will have the 120 gig hard drive inside it(unremoveable)..does that mean that i wont be able to buy a seperate 120 gig hard drive and have to buy this new 360 if i wanted a bigger hard drive

120 gig is still tiny,if this machine is to last another 3-4 years

usually its my 360 that gets all my time,but with recent purchases MGS3:subsistance,FF12,bully,silent hill 3 and FF7dirge of cerberus,the PS2 has all my time...but the 360 still gets used,i have been playing Gun inbetween FF12...and downloading demos and such from marketplace

the DSlite is used as my alarm clock at the moment(yeah i know,i'm going to hell)...my PSP only gets played on at work(the warriors)..and my Wii,has been sitting in a corner crying for a few weeks now,because it has not even been switched on for that time

well i havent got that far into the story yet to really say,but i haven't really used the one esper i have got

quickenings are much more used at the moment for me

talking about Espers i was travelling around the Zertinan Caverns,and i found one of the 8 hidden espers,so i did battle with it,got its health down to less that 10% before he wiped out my entire party(which wasnt a big deal as i had only just saved,as i expected something big down there)...so looked up info about it,it was called Adrammelech,The Wroth...and its a level 39,i am now level 34 so i will go back to it in a bit

I don't need my games to be GTA style, personally I don't like over-the-top violence and swearing. Light-hearted is one thing, like in Rayman games for example, but seriously if Mario wasn't running around in that video you would think it was a kids game. Nintendo should do for Mario what they did for Zelda and mature it a little bit.

Based on reports from the Japanese version don't be expecting an emotional story in the vein of FF4 and FF6-12.  Supposedly the story is good but more like say FF5 or the stories in the Dragon Quest series.

GameInformer had a big preview on it a while back.  The battle system is turn-based with your dragons doing the fighting.  There are 9 classes, and you can mix and match abilities from the different classes.  Enemies are visible, and you have field skills you can use get the enemies to fight each other or to fight several enemy groups in a row for bonuses.

Hmm this does not sound at all like what I was expecting, but I am tentatively prepared to label this "cool" for right now. It has potential. I need to read more about it or see it in action.

i am a big 360 fan and plan on getting a ps3,but only next year...but i must admit,this looks great,some of the actions for your toon remind me of final fantasy 11,looks like the same kind of input commands as an MMO as well(star wars online also springs to mind for the characters...and remember SWO is sony as well)
