i am wondering,do you think any MGS4 trailers will appear on the PSN?

The most recent E3 trailer is on there. 

i cant find any on there,maybe America and Europe content is totally different




in a magazine they had a poll,which was their favourite MGS game.....only 1 2 and 3 were there to pick,so sign of the early games,the ac!d games,or port ops

results were in

metal gear solid 3:snake eater was number 3 with 20% of the votes
metal gear solid was second with 30% of the votes and
metal gear solid 2:sons of liberty was first with 50% of the votes

i love all MGS games,but 2 is my least favourite(still great though)...my favourite is snake eater

i know what you mean but to be honest,SONY are more prone to this,this is just something that was said,and really caught me by suprise really...when you want to say something to a world audience,surely he should get some facts right first..and also,it would seem that its the video game players who this is also aimed at...if they want to download it,then thats where the gaming is at that time

of course he isnt the only one,peter moore i think just last week said that sony arent doing a decent job in Japan,but i think everyone knows that the 360 is REALLY struggling with japans audience,and he should of really bit his tongue instead of saying that


in other words,its as though these people(SONY ,MS...not so much ninty) are just baiting the competition and us,just for us to react with the obvious answers

i think these companies thrive off this

anyway,i basically posted about getting a PS3 for two main reasons...1 is,that i was quite excited with it,as i was with the 360

another is,that right now,the PS3 has got many mixed reviews or views,so i think another persons view on the console is good,maybe give someone the idea of whether they want one or not

i know that framerate is something that i am concerned with,when games like R6:V and darkness apparently suffer on the PS3...but i think i will still be getting my 3rd party games on the 360...achievements and online etc,unless there were somekind of extras on the PS3 version

but i am now looking forward to MGS4,FF13 and maybe Home.....and now i know that at least i wont miss out on these games

the 360 is a great console still(although the rings of death dont help),but like Denoginizer said,the Wii has still been a dissapointment to me,it has a lot of bells and whistles with the motion sensor,internet,weather etc....but if the games arent there then it isnt doing its job IMO

I read that article on Gamasutra last night and while I think that comment is wrong if applied to Microsoft's Live Arcade, I don't see it as being too inflamatory.  Microsoft has released a lot of ports from PC and old arcade games, Mad Tracks being one of them.  Overall I thought in the interview Dille was pretty honest about what they have accomplished and the fact that they have a ways to go.

so today i finally got my PS3...i am now a proud owner of the PSWii60<<<god i feel a dork saying/typing that,LOL


i got the package
console+2 controllers
motorstorm,resistance games
casino royale,black hawk down BR dvds

anyway,i fired it up,didnt have any problems with signing in from when i registered my name,which was great

played about for a while with looking around the menus getting to know stuff,from this point i was a little overwhelmed,but hopefully i will get used to it

so,i find where the memory tells you how much you have left

its 55gig(i know that its 60 gig,but its the same with the 360...13 gig out of 20 gig)...but the thing is it said about 49gig left,and i hadnt downloaded anything,and nothing was there in the videos etc

USB cable for the joypad is a little short,but then again SONY always do give short leads.....looking at the ethernet cable i got with it as well,thats a lot shorter than the 360 one

so,i went onto the PSN store,browsed for a while,and downloaded a few trailers and some demos...dont like how i cant buy stuff of there,i wanted tekken 5!!...i dont have a credit card though,hopefully points cards or something will come out,as i was discussing on here the other day

Ninja Gaiden sigma demo....why the hell do i have to sit through the warning???

i put in my PSP memory card,i had some videos on there that i got from teamxbox,force unleashed trailer looks even better on the big screen,i was quite impressed with that,that means when LOST series 4 starts and i get them from Limewire and usually watch them on my PSP..now i can watch them on my TV

i had a picture of drew barrymore in her knickers and top on my PSP,so thats now my wallpaper

is there anything at the moment that the PSP can do with the PS3...other than what i have mentioned,any interactive with PS3 games for instance?


okay,first,just as i was checking i thought i would put in the Blu-ray dvds......i have a SONY wega triniton widescreen (32" i think) television,not HD,although i have always marvelled at the ace picture...but i still wasnt expecting the BRs to work...but they did,picture was fine,but you could tell on a HD,it would look a lot better,but still....didnt expect them to work at all

the game was quite good what i played of it,(about 10-20minutes)...wouldnt mind having the fire button on R2 though,R1 was a tad awkward...but still gonna look forward to playing through that in the coming days....and 40 people online..nice

Motorstorm...wasnt expecting to like this,but i did,it was a lot fo fun,and the graphics are vewy,vewy pweetty..although the opening movie,stuttered some....maybe another corker online(but could only connect to Australian or Europe servers..shame)

gran turismo HD concept was.....dissapointing,cars werent what i was hoping for,and the crowds animation want very impressive...most were statues...but it is a demo,so hopefully it will improve

F1 demo,was a lot different than i was expecting,fast and furious,more like crash bandicoot,i was expecting to have to be very careful,but i found i could wiz round the track...so i think i may pick this title up,even though the racers are now quite old

1 real bad point is the lack of a headset,now i have to go to town and pick one up some time...hopefully get one that works with the system


overall,at the moment i am quite impressed with it,its big,its heavy-ish..and gets fingerprints on it easily...but its certainly better than i thought it was gonna be.....now,will the games come out for it?

you proberbly heard,but when Pro Evolution Soccer 6 came out here for the 360,the European champions have always been sponsered by SONY,so when playing on the 360,you get sony playstation 3 billboards surrounding the pitch

when the disc tray on my 360 wouldnt close i had to send it off,first the customer service was better than i thought it would be(although i am in England....but we do tend to have crap customer service on average)...and a UPS truck came i think the next day and the woman said it would be 7-10 days(not sure if it was working days she said)...i got my 360 back within the week...although,my problem wasnt the 3 rings of death....but i was quite happy with the service,true it shouldnt of broke on me like that,after 8 months buying the console...but i was expecting my pain to be worse

that was last August,i am hoping that they may of improved the service some more by now

I've never understood if some of the things in the MGS games Kojima means to be intentionally funny, a parody or is he totally serious about it.

i have always taken the MGS games as tongue in cheek style humour.... metal gear solid for the playstation(not so much the remake for GC),i thought took its self way to seriously,but that didnt stop it being a cracker of a game

Paper Mario on VC is th best title i have bought for it,i am having a lot of fun......1000 year old door looks like more of the same.so i am definelty gonna pick that up,if its half as good i will be happy

it doesnt really matter that they arent all microsoft,as long as you can play them on the 360

i think this has been a discussion on MS games since the last xbox,yeah i know there are a lot of FPS games out there ,but i still feel that there are a good deal of other kind of games,should the person want something else other than shooting.....but having said that,if you DO like FPS games,then look no further than the 360

got back to FF7 yesterday....disaster,i did rocket town,wutai...back to gold saucer for teh keystone and the date with aeries(still impressive)...and then went to temple of the ancients,everything was fine until i had to get out of there and fight demons gate...what a bastard that thing is,just cant kill it,so i am gonna load up a previous save(thank god i made it)outside of the temple...and level up a little,currently level 32 or so,but i havent got spells like slow or barrier which i remember having last time

hmm.. it could be a reason to fire up the 360 after a month of non use.

GBA got two Metroid games.  The first was Metroid Fusion, an all new game with some new ideas(like some changes to her armor)  Then, about a year or so later, Metroid: Zero Mission came out. 

Zero Mission was kind of a remake of the NES one, not sure if it was a 100% remake or if it had some storyline reason for being in the same areas/situations, I only played Fusion of the two gba ones.

i have fusion for the GBA,if what you say is true,then i have never played super metroid

did any metroid titles come out for the 64?

i think the underneath isnt as bulky,so really,if you look how you handle your controller,your fingers,can still rest in the same place as they do now....apart from the weight(and i am expecting it to be super light..better had be anyway),i dont think there will be any difference when you are holding the controller,your thumbs will be naturaly resting on the analogue sticks


and i think this came out mainly for IM users,to maybe chat to a friend while watching a movie or even while you are playing an online game with the headset and he is ....i dunno...on his PC

However, one thing that can't be denied is the absolute dearth of PS3 disc games.  Even non exclusives.

are you talking downloads only for the future?,if so,anyone serious about gaming would need a bigger hard drive,especially if that hard drive is also used for SONY's upcoming video on demand service....in fact,i think it would need to be a MUCH bigger hard drive,for the 360 i have ver 40 games,if it got like that for the PS3,i could honestly say that i would be screwed

apparently the streetfighter game,is the same one that appeared on xbox live arcade last year,although without the HD,leaderboards or online play(and achievements of course)...but cost roughly the same price

as i have the streetfighter for XBLA,i may pick up metroid at some point,but still having too much fun with last weeks paper mario to really care

i have it for PS2,loved the game and finished it...mainly because i found it was extremely easy(easier than GTA games),i remember having trouble with shop class,but once i got the hang of it,it was a sinch

definetly gonna get this for 360


maybe with re-newed interest because of this,they may think about doing a sequel
