It usually just means that it's time to pay a trained mechanic to turn off the check engine light.
+10 You really don't have a problem with the car; just the check engine light.[see above]

I know a lot about cars[ that is precomputer cars]. I think 90 % of the world's check engine lights are on simultaneously. Depending on the make and model of your car the number of things monitored by the computer can be huge. If your fluid levels are good it probably is something as inane as your gas cap or it's gas cap filter or the window washer fluid level. Having said that you could always take a cab to the airport.

The "Forever Stamps" -of which I have a few books - have no price and are supposed to be valid regardless of price increases so I've no immediate concern about postal increases.
Although I enjoy the Internet as much or more as anyone else, I avoid online bill paying simply because I don't like allowing too much automatic withdrawals to anyone. Yeah, I know, many people are patting themselves on the back about not using snail mail, yawnnn, congratulating themselves on their cleverness about not having to write a check, but I prefer being actively aware of where, when, why, etc. my money is going. Otherwise, I'd be just puzzled about my expenses at the end of the year.
I run my own construction business so I daily keep track of my expenses. Having said that I still feel it is too easy to spend money[ two daughters in college]. I need to feel the pain of every dollar spent; writing checks and mailing them[ snail mail] helps me feel that pain. Also ditto the automatic withdrawals.

I would have liked you to make more of an issue of the loading times[autosave]. I really like the game, but the loading times stopped my playing and have me hoping for a patch.

here's the galciv love[at least galciv 2 w/ expansions]. i played almost as much galciv as civilization i.e. until my eyes were burning out of my skull. i play a lot of computer games[too many] and have for too many years. having said that, again i want to pimp armagedon empires. it is a very unique clever game. easy to get into and the more you play the more you realize the depth it has. plus as you can see above the game's creator is very supportive, and appears to be a good human being[or a very clever a.i.]. in a gaming world of hit or miss block busters i think it can only help in the long run to support a small indie developer who has produced a great product.

well i was playing settlers 10th anniversary[because of you]. got this [because of you]. i agree that this is a great game. i'm enjoying it more than settlers, caesar 4, and cotn. runs like a clock and is just alot of fun. not to mention drop dead gorgeous graphics. i've never been a big fan of "scenarios", but i find these scenarios are actually engaging. well worth the money.

dreamshadow; it's not just that the ai likes vehicles, for me it's that it is so good with them. from the scout motorcycle thru tanks the ai just runs circles around me. i don't think i've won a tank duel yet. throw my infantry with a sticky bomb at a tank while it's battling my tank the ai tank turret wheels around blasting my infantry and then right back on top of my tank. if i was any worse at this i would have to wear a dress when i play. i may have to give it a break and see if a patch gives a speed slider and adjusts the ais' love affair with vehicles.

i played a lot of gal civ. i thought it was the closest to moo of all the genre. so i was fooling around with dosbox and started playing moo. i don't know why, but this is just the most fun. i mean sure it is really, really dated, but for me it is just the epitome computer gaming. easy to get into, simple concepts and yet compelling to me. the opposing races all seem to have their own personalities and play differently. is it just that the following games in the genre just got more and more needlessly complicated? i don't know. i also like the original railroad tycoon more than the sequals. now don't get me wrong; i'm buying gal civ 2. i just wondered if any of this makes sense to anybody else? more complicated doesn't mean more fun.
