Now available on iPhones and Android phones!  Gaming options while on the crapper just get better and better.

yeah, not showing in the play store yet for Android Mobile.  Tablet version comes back not compatible

I saw someone say in a comments section somewhere that you can find it if you look for a list of all Blizzard products rather than searching specifically for Hearthstone.

That's how I found it on iOS

Do you need to keep the badges in your bag to get the benefits from them, or can you bank them?

Do you have a limited amount of storage space on your person?  I haven't actually put anything into the bank and wondering if I need to start.

There's pretty much no reason to ever move anything to storage, other than you  don't want to scroll past so many things in your inventory when looking at armor/weapons. Game does away with weight mechanics.  Storage is really only for overflow of carryable item allotment.  They really should have auto refilled everything like they do with vials/bullets.

Thanks forge

I got the blood starved beast without much trouble at all, as the game allowed me to summon in a helper NPC.  One shotted him with the help!

I'm not so sure you can have NPC helpers, most likely it was another player who joined in to help you.  Nice to get past the BSB though, that took me awhile until I used the cocktails to distract him.

Nope it was an NPC, there are some bosses that allow this as long as you talk to the friendly NPC beforehand from what I read.

I'm really looking forward. To picking up a Surface Pro 4 now that all the growing pains are over!

As a Surface 3 owner, I am not sure their growing pains are over, but it has come a long way. It's biggest problem isn't Microsofts fault though, it's that most software doesn't support touch controls. (A Surface Pro would be my first recommendation for a Windows based laptop, it's a great little machine.)

Anyway, people following the Chinese stores last night, showed that the gold watches sold out within the first hour. Of course we have no idea on the qualities available, but it shows that Apple isn't completely nuts.

They sold out in the US just as fast. All models did.

you could go to old yarnham.

Is that the expected progression?  I wasn't sure if I was supposed to go there or to vicar amelia.

I'm an apple fan (laptops, OSX, iphones) but the apple watch is just lame. 10k for one with a gold finish is beyond stupid. I'm betting its gonna be a flop...

Who cares there is a gold expensive one? It's not like they are pushing it on you, it's for a certain kind of person that isn't most of us. If there is a market for that kind of thing, which I am sure they researched, then it was a good business decision.

People said the iPhone and iPad would flop. They didn't, obviously. I do think it will become like the iPad, still sell incredibly well, but not be a product everyone wants. Other companies can only dream of having an Apple flop.

If last night was any indication, the launch brought in decent numbers.

Seriously, this line of thinking is there's only 1 version and it's 10k.

Still stuck on Gascoigne, though I downed Cleric Beast first try and at this point I can clear pretty much the entirety of Central Yarnham without breaking a sweat or using any consumables (though I have to cheap-kill the werewolves, getting into a running battle with them seems to be a recipe for a quick death). I've leveled up a bunch of times but I can still barely get him to half health.

I think I need to get better at using oil+molotovs, I always hoard consumables and end up struggling through fights I really shouldn't. Otherwise I guess I'll just eventually level to the point where I can either kick his ass or soak the damage.

The charge attack of the two-handed axe works wonders.  It has a big range and will almost always hit him at least once.

Also, for those wondering what stats mean, clicking the right stick on the character screen will bring up tooltips that explain what each stat means.

I used the 2 hand axe to take him out also.  And molotovs for phase 2.

Getting the 42mm black Sports as well. Reading around the Internet, that seems to be the far most popular option.

I actually like the silver casing (aluminum), but since they don't pair it with a blank band by default I will get space grey.  I didn't want to spend an extra $50 just to get the band I wanted.

I am curious about echoes lost when you are killed. I have read that if you are killed a second time before you get your echoes back, they are gone forever. There have been a couple instances where I was on my way to retrieve some and got killed again and figured they were gone. I would then end up getting them back on another attempt after killing an enemy. Do they remain longer (indefinitely?) if picked up by an enemy?

Maybe it's the echoes that you gained while going back to pick up the original pool?  Those new echoes would make their own blood pool if you died again.

Sorry if this has been asked already, but does this have the same limited respawn rule as DSII for non-boss creatures?

No, but it does remain the mechanic that has been around since Demon's Souls where certain non-boss enemies will never respawn once killed. I know this at least goes for the hunter-type enemies in Bloodborne.

That's the only one I've seen not respawn also.  A hunter NPC that I killed.

The two best things I've read about reviews are that there is praise from fashion and life publications and picky from tech reviews.  Secondly that most of the reviews are of the "but I wanted it to do this" type.

I'll also be ordering tomorrow at 12:01.  Sport edition in space gray 42mm.  Looking forward to new shiny!

Funny how you realize some things later and feel very stupid. I have been running around the Central location and the sewers and leveling up a bit. I then have read a few strategy articles and realized that I have been clueless in two basic areas. I noticed my pebbles seemed useless so I would run in and attack villager groups and run back and take care of whoever followed me. I now see I have to lock on to people and then throw pebbles. How did I miss that?
I also never realized I could do the stealth kills. I would just run in and attack them before they knew what hit them. I did not even think I could creep in slow and do the R2/R1. I will be unstoppable now until I meet some new creature lol.

I can't figure out how to stealth kill from behind.  How do you do it?  I've gotten the shoot/stun/kill one down, but not the stealth.

Got the second boss down, but I had to watch a youtube video of a different tactic than I was using to do it.  Also apparently you need lots of molotovs to beat bosses?  Or maybe just these ones that have beast phases.

Having more fun now that I am not a pushover and learning the lay of the land.  Also that counter gun/attack move is really good.

First boss tips?  I've leveled a bit, bought the first avail armor set (4 items), have a decent idea of how to play.  Seems like locking onto boss is a bad idea?  Also I am low on bullets, etc.  Do I have to farm so that I have full pots/bullets/molotovs just to beat first boss?

Cleric Beast?  You can kind of hit another one too, but Cleric is meant to be first I think.   You don't really need bullets for CB.  What weapon are you using?  Mostly I'd say to just stay on him and take advantage of regain.

Remember you can usually just run to them past a lot of bad guys once you know where they are and have the shortcuts open, though you may want to kill enemies for bullets/vials if you are low.

Yeah cleric beast.  What do you mean about regain (on I just googled this, ok if you hit him when the bar hasn't dropped you get the HP back)?  I have a hunter axe I think?  I use it one hand and I have a pistol.  I've gotten him to half health and otherwise he just owns me.

I got him.  Needed molotovs.

I'm just a pseudo Apple fanboy, I don't drool over every Apple announcement and upgrade everything yearly, but I am fairly well equipped with a suite of iStuff.

I could see myself eventually being interested in a smart watch of some sort, but this first gen Apple one is too expensive and too ugly for me.  Someone poke me when they have a cheaper, thinner one with a circular face and better features and battery life.

Sir Jony is on record saying no round face because it cuts out too much space for the main purpose of reading text.

Which is silly because you can display just as much text on a round face, just with more extra screen on the edges.  I've fiddled with a friend's Moto 360 which looks pretty slick and manages to be round without the world crashing down around it.

I'll eat my hat if Apple doesn't release a round one in a few years, and maybe by then I'll want one.

I'd wager all the other manufacturers will switch to rectangular faces to copy Apple.

Let's make this interesting and turn it into a real wager.  In 3 year's time we'll see who's right, and the winner gets rittchard's watch.

It's a deal!  nod

They use different systems? I didn't know that. Aren't Google Wallet and Apple Pay on the same system (NFC), so you should be able to use either when you see the NFC symbol? I remember reading when CVS shut it off because of Apple Pay, it also shut off Google Wallet as well.

As I understand it, it's not about the NFC, it's about the proprietary smart wallet stuff.  They can both technically connect, I guess, but if a store is aligned with one and not the other, it won't work.  So far the dividing line seems to be between Apple Pay and CurrentC, which I don't think is even out yet.  Many stores are already aligned with that, though, and aren't taking ApplePay as a result.  Wal-Mart is one of them.  If you go into a Wal-Mart, you may well see an NFC thingie at checkout, but you can't use ApplePay.

Most of the existing ones use NFC as I understand it.  CurrentC (which will fail miserably imo) uses an app which produces a QR code that the cashier needs to scan.  CVS, et al turned off all the NFC terminals when Apple Pay was launched in hopes it would not gain traction.  In doing so, they also disabled google wallet etc.  There is no way to explicitly turn off Apple Pay and still use NFC (as I understand it).

Having NFC is just how it connects, I think.

It's like having a card swiper at checkout but not accepting American Express, for example.  Sure, technically, the machine could read an American Express card, but if the store isn't accepting the card, you're out of luck.

Yes but when CVS turned off their NFC readers after Apple Pay launched, it stopped all NFC payments.  Alternately, Peet's coffee (here in SF bay) is not an Apple Pay "partner", but they have NFC terminals and my Apple Pay works just fine there.

Samsung pay should be interesting since I believe it uses regular card reading which is basically everywhere. Since Samsung bought http://www.looppay.com/

But it's Samsung. Tongue I am not sure how much I trust them. Of course I just HATE my Samsung TV so I might be biased. They are not good at software if their smart TVs are of any evidence.

CurrentC stands a chance just because of Walmart I think. They are such a market force, and if they make it worth using the system for price discounts, loyalty programs,  and coupons it could catch on. Of course, with having to link your checking account to their service, it seems to be asking for trouble.

I forgot about the checking account part.  I just don't see how anyone uses that system.
