I am so used to keyboard mouse controls, that I cannot play FPS' on a console.  It is an exercise in futility.

Hey all, I just started playing PoP:WW the other day.  I played through and loved PoP:SoT.  Great game.  While I am willing to look past all of the common complaints about WW that people throw out there, there is one thing that's killing me.  

I suck at combat.  

You have to be precise with your button presses to make combat go smoothly and I am a'mashing in this one.  How did you all learn to fight?  I fing that I am just blocking then attacking.  It's not free flowing, it's not smooth, and it's not fun.  What did you all do?  Two weaps?  Or one hand for grabs?  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Funny thing is that this seems to be closer to reality than before.  Iwata said something like, "Sony is the only competition we have next generation"...maybe Microsoft is buying Nintendo or they're merging the games departments.  I know it's unimaginable, but I've seen stranger things...

I hit 60 about two weeks ago and now I am bored as hell.  What do you guys do at 60 to have fun?  

I don't really like instances because you have to be there for at least 2 hours without doing anything else.  It seems that is all anyone does at 60, the constant instance runs for better gear.

All I find myself doing is running around killing stuff for cash and the occasional good item.  Why did I hit 60 dammit!?

I've heard rumors, but isn't that just stupid?  You just released the DS (which is blah, IMO) on the heels of the really successful SP, and now you want people to spend another $xxx to buy something else?  WTF, Big N?  I'll believe it when I see it, it just doesn't make sense.

I won't be getting a PSP, but of course I follow the gaming world and it's many iterations.

For those in the know, when does Nintendo get scared about the PSP?  It seems pretty obvious that it's going to be a smash hit and take market share away from the Gameboy.

A few years back, they hired a character to pose as Mara Jade for pics.

I did some research and found some interesting things.

That is the starwars.com databank entry for Mara Jade (now Skywalker as she marries him in the books).  Well in the top right is the actress who they originally hired.  In the middle left appears to be an actress cast to play her in the RotK SE that I did not know about.  I know her back story says she was at Jabba's Palace as the Emporer's Hand, but I didn't know that was supposed to be her in the movie.  I actually haven't watched that dance number *shudders* in a while, is she even in the SE?

I just got this for PC and I'm really liking it too.  I love me some Star Wars FPS and this is just what the doc ordered.  Graphics are good, sound is excellent, and the game is fun.  Good times.

So far my only gripe is that the rifle is weak.  I am trying to shoot geonosians and it's either missing them, or they have mad armor!

Episode 23 is now out on the CN link. Nowhere near as good as 22, but a neccessary build up I suppose :o

I must have watched General Grievous in action a dozen times last night. If they show him delivering a massive beating to anyone in ROTS, then the crowd might go nuts with geek glee. Also, I had to do a freeze frame on it but I caught the blink-and-you-miss-it shots during Anakin's beat-down of the Sith warrior. The entire lightsaber fight with him was frickin' awesome, but the temple battle was especially grand, not to mention filled to the brim with foreshadowing.
