Out of curiosity, anyone have an unused buddy key?

I have one if you still need it, it entitles you to the full game so if you end up not liking it pass it on to someone who can make use of it.  Let me know..

Has anyone played this?

I tried the demo and really liked it, seems to have a touching story, and the gameplay although not amazing is quite good once it clicks

Well...not exactly a sauce, but if you bread them, then lightly pan fry them and squeeze lemon and salt on them, they are simply amazing.

As a nutritious side, puree cooked spinach with potatoes seasoned to taste (put a tiny bit of nutmeg in it, salt, pepper), I sometimes make a fried egg on the side if I'm feeling fancy

Final Fantasy XIV is an MMO.

The battle and job systems will be different than the one previously used in Final Fantasy XI, which utilized experience points. Character races and monsters will resemble those found in Final Fantasy XI to allow players to create avatars similar to ones created in Final Fantasy XI. Group play has been de-emphasized, and now solo and group play have been balanced. Weapon use will alter "character development".

May all the gods in the universe help me - I read that article (which, truth be told, I think I'd already come across before and just forgot.)  I am going to need a 12-step program soon.  icon_eek

Hopefully, the economy they set up will be regulated in such a way as to eliminate gold farmers, crafting cheaters, and bots that people set up to fish and craft, etc.  Either that, or cheating will be rampant and I will hear about it before I decide to play, and then I will be OUT!  I  hope.  disgust

Well, knowing SE they will come down hard on cheaters, but also create the perfect breeding ground for RMT by making Gil too difficult  to acquire....I'm hoping that this is not the case, but you know....

If any of you end up playing we MUST be in the same guild or equivalent!

Here's a nice trailer to wet your appetite
