That tech manager was very mistaken.

I should clarify. The max number of unique live TV channels is 4 channels. It doesn't matter, assuming you're on the highest profile, HD vs SD. On lower profiles, you get less HD channels, but you're still limited to 4 "live TV" channels.

For example, say you want to watch/record NBC, ABC, CBS and FOX at the same time.

1. You can watch NBC on one TV, ABC on one TV, CBS on one TV and FOX on one TV. On the 5th TV, you would have to watch recorded TV or the same channel as one of the other TVs.

2. You are recording NBC and ABC on the DVR. You can watch CBS on one TV and FOX on one TV. On the other 3 TVs, you would have to watch recorded TV or the same channel as one of the other TVs.

3. You are recording NBC, ABC, CBS, and FOX on the DVR. On all 5 TVs, you have to watch recorded TV or the same channel as is being recorded.

For all of these, if someone wanted to watch Cartoon Network, they wouldn't be able to without someone changing from NBC, ABC, CBS or FOX to Cartoon Network.

Thank you for that information. I canceled my install and only then did the person on the other end agread that I would no be a good fit for their service. They claim they are working on it and she also reported everyone else that I talked to for retraining.
I was her 3rd call for the day with the same issue.

How many TV can be viewed with U-verse at the same time. I have 5 TV 2 of which are HD. Last time I tried U-verse when the HDTV were on the standard tv could not be viewed. With in a month U-verse was gone.
So here I am faced with changing service again and me being with ATT wireless for 14 years, I want to give them a chance plus I like the every room DVR.
Can I get some user input. 
HD quality compared to DTV?
Number of simultaneous live TVs that can be viewed?
Do the channel change when I hit the button? (people with DTV know what Iam talking about)
Is the hardware reliable?
Do the channel go out when it rains? kidding.

Ive been watching the GodFather remastered on AMC Monday night and it got me Jonesing to play a gangster game. Gangsters came to mind, I searched Stem and gamefly (new PC thing they got now) nothing. I checked my back log and behold I still got my gangsters2 CD, no product Key needed. I ve been playing the hell out of it all night, I forgot how good that game was. This was a close call for everyone involved. I am just happy everyone is OK.

I just got 1 yesterday Black Saturday for $109 with 3 games included.  It was an impulse buy and so far I am not feeling any regret from it. It looks good reads great images and the voice commands are on point even with my Island accent mon. Then there is This that's due next month. My kids loves it, I like how it tracks me when I am at my desk talking via video chat and I don't need a mic. I was not one for it but I give it a tumbs up at $110.

MW C130 mission was awesome, but BF3 F-18 mission was hands down my best gaming experience so far. The launch off of the carries WOW awesome.
Maybe EA should make the next AceCombat.

This just came out of left field and got my interest... Men of War: Vietnam PC This looks like a full game.

No.  4 is nothing more than a refined version of 3 (which was fine anyway).  I'd play 3 and if you like it, pick 4 up on sale.

thanks for the advice on T4.  I thought about it after I posted and T3 should hold me over nicely until the Holiday Sale (less than 3 months away!).

GET T4, I played T3 to death along with T1,reloaded and T2. T4's demo is awesome the pop up missions is a nice touch. The training\tutorials alone makes the game easy for new comers to get into. The demo holds your hand more than any of the tropico games combined. Even If your a big guru in city builders you will find the older versions of tropico hard to get into, especially when you find yourself voted out of office just as you get things going. 
You will be fine with T4 plus steam gives yo T1 and T2 if you pre-order now.

Iam playing the hell out of the steam demo and I must say I am loving the changes so far.
Its not much so that it could not have been a expansion pack but in these days of no SimCity it will have to do.

I just had some coffee that reminded me of this topic. Wow its been almost 2 years now since my first cup of brew. I remembered when it was all about the flavor coffee for me, I could not understand why people did not like flavor coffee.
Well I am not sure when or even how I stopped drinking flavored coffee, but one thing is for sure now that shit is nasty.. I just had me a cup and was like this shit must be spoiled. I tried a fresh new package and flavor and the same nasty after taste.
It got me thinking of this post and how people said I would grow out of the flavored coffee phase. I am not sure how, but it did happen.
My brew of choice now, is Eight O'Clock 100% Columbian, Starbucks morning Joe, and the very hated MaxuelHouse (Work). with French Vanilla or Hazelnut Creamers. Although I do like to try different creamers from time to time.
I am not big on black yet but can handle it with 4-6 sugars. Just a week ago I was introduced to espresso, wooooh.
