you should be pleased.  I've had it since March 08, and since then they have upgraded my internet speeds to the next level, gave me THDVR, the ability to track my Fantasy Football through their TV service, all without any rate increases.

Spelling would imply that there's a misspelled word there, which there isn't.  Those keys have "rt" between them.  I see a syntax error, which falls under grammar.  There's either a word being misused or a word missing.

I've watched a fair bit of video on it and it just doesn't look like fun to me.
I could be totally wrong--certainly have been before.

I was in the same boat as you until I played the demo. This is rubbing me like Portal did, and thats in a good way.

2 hours of game play impressions and SPOILERS not major. Yes I scored an early copy. wow its been 2 games in a row so far. I've made it out of the Vault and traveled to the first town of Megaton.
My Valt experience was as followed: You begging the game as a new born. So new you still got fluid from you mothers womb in your eyes. And you are opening your eyes to your first choice in the game it a Boy or Girl? After making your selection you would here your father babbling on about how cute you are and all that crap.
You have your next choice to make "he looks like?" here you  have the ability to create what you would look like in your adult age. The character creation sucked so bad I just started picking the defaults. it used sliders that would often off set you previous selection if you choose something else.  example I had thick lips, when adding mustache the lips,eyes and checks slider started shrinking..WTF? After making character there is a little dram that plays out then a year goes by.

Now your a toddle (A) to talk baby talk... This is an attempt of a tutorial on the movement and picking up items in the game. They used a baby book to educate you on certain traits which was kinda cool. when this is all done 9 years go by and you are now at your Tenth birthday party.
Here you talk and interact with party goers and your introduced t other NPC in the game both young and old. Your dad give you BB gun and you also get your "pip boy 2k" No real information on how to use it but any gamer will figure it out. you are given a brief tutorial on shooting and aiming.

Four years now past and this scene opens with your dad informing you of a test you take at 16 in the vault that determines your career path. from the conversation all the way to the test you are given choice in your answers which seems to range from very well mannered to a rude as snub. before the test your are informed by the instructor that he can fix the test for you  and tell him what you want. However you are given the choice to take the test yourself. Be prepared for some weird ass questions. This is the game attempt to decide what type of character you are. These questions was really wired.

2 year would now past and your 16 been woken up by the Overseers daughter who informs you of your dads escape from the vault and how you need to help him. Finally some action, if you played Oblivion you know how this games combat system feels. The only difference is the PipBoy and the time era. geting out of the vault plays very similar to the cave in Oblivion. Be warned you may choose to help someone but if you hit them(NPC) can\will kill them and can change how the game. The targeting system is awesome in my opinion. I am still learning it so I will have to get back with that.

On the last leg of the Vault felt like Oblivion even the gate to teh outside. upon exiting the graphics are really good looks like Gears of War 1 graphics and color...umm if you know what I mean... Over all it looks good. The third person view look like crap, you get the sense of your aviator is held in the game by the waist with a treadmill like effect.. ( think pole position in the arcades) stick to first person.

I can help but feel like I am playing a future Oblivion the world is wide open I mean where you want get ass lost in the middle of no where big and open.. I fiddled with the out side world for a while collecting every thing from uniforms to shot glasses. I have no clue what to do with them, but I can obviously collect them for some reason so why not. I will soon find out their value, I am sure there is something on the pipboy to help me with this but I haven't taken the time out to figure out yet. Maybe the fist town will help with my development of the game mechanics but I doubt it.  I will play some more after work tomorrow if Fableitist don't set in. I dont have that till dawn fell with this game right now, maybe as I get in to it and understand it more it may get more exciting. Right now I feel like a colorless Oblivion with lots of tech to learn.

Someone asked about the Co-op.. just to be brief if your invited into a co-op game your character is not carried over nore your items. you are basically hired help, "Henchman" as the game puts it..

Before the quest go on you can select from a pre set character man or woman with different skill sets there must have been 6-8 to chose from. I did not really take note because obviously I was looking for my character. The Host then chooses how the loot will be split up and how much you get paid per game hour.

The story will continue as normal single player game, story, quest, jobs and so on. The guest in the game can not activate any sequence of events, jobs or open any treasures only spectate. They are basically just there to help you fight...I did this for an hour with my brother and as limited as it sounds it was actually fun.  except for when he took on the tree cutting job I just watched him cut wood they did not even give me the benefit of the arch with the ball he have to line up so I can laugh when he missed.

The game it self is a lot of fun with funny moments the photographer so far has been my funniest moment.  I am having some freezing issue not sure if its my 360 or the game as yet but I will let you know as I narrow it down.

Fable2

Saints Row 2. OOOHhh and the tide starts. Lets see if I am playing more games then I can cut the cable and the save on gas by traveling less.
I have a love hate for the time of year.

sadly, for me at least, Saints Row 2 is going to be the victim of too many games coming out in a short period.  with the 3F group (Fable 2, Far Cry 2 and Fallout 3) due the following two weeks afterwards I'm trying to get most of my current backlog out of the way, abnd there's no sense in picking it up only to have it gather dust.  I may grab the PC version eventually unless it's a horrible port- maybe the graphical flaws IGN mentioned won't be present. 

What??? No Fat guy with the green fro for me to run over? You just killed my multiplayer aspiration...

I have since been to a few bike shops and have already secured a MSF course and what seems to e a great instructor.
It should be about a four week wait before I can take the course but, at $350\15hours for me and my wife both, I can wait.
license test included. By the way the MSF course is now standard here in FL.
Well I have sat\straddled (both single and with my wife) lifted, & walked all sorts of bikes from scooters to touring trikes. I went in with my mind set on a sport bike yet open to see other stuff. In the end mostly due to the choice of my wife we've decided on...........

I have never ridden a bike before hell I never even sat on one. However with raising gas prices and my Saturn at 155,556 Miles with Oil leaks, smoking and heating issues I believe the days are numbered. My credit sucks and used cars suck even more so I am considering a motorbike for 6 months of the year winter & Fall and car for Summer and spring, I live in FL. 
Safety is my number one concern in this decision, during bike week there are an avg of 10-15 Motorcycle related deaths and 3 times more accidents, notice I said Bike week thats a lot in one week. The details of the tragedy is rarely if ever revealed to the public. Could it be alcohol related? or are bikes just targets on the road?
What have your experience been on the open road and what should someone in my position What suggestions would you have for someone like me.

OK, not loving the Civilization portion.  basically the red civ zerged the whole map- I'm not sure how the heck they got so many units so fast but all of a sudden all the spice was theirs and about 10 enemy units were attacking my city with some kind of beam weapon while my turrets were doing absolutely nothing.  wtf am I doing wrong?  did I over engineer my units when I designed them (they cost 1000 each) and they just made cheaper units?

Holy shit.... I came on to grip about the same thing, for me it was the blue. Other than that I loved every part of the game up to this.  I just need to figure out how to get off this planet.

Crap.... I totally underestimated Wal*Mart. I went to collect my snacks for my day of gaming tomorrow, the crowd at the electronic dept. caught my eyes. As I got closer they are all standing around the counter looking at the clerk with hungry eyes. I immediately knew it was spore.
After conformation I just had to walk away because I already paid in full at GS $80.00 and, standing there will make me cough up another $80 or $50.00 because I cant wait 11 more hours.
I should have well known Wal*Mart would have the jump on the game because it was shipped since last week.
Any one with time tonight Wal*Mart is selling Spore right now, well after 12 a.m.

Edit: To add insult to injury Discovery is presently showing evolution in the future of earth with the making of Spore Highlights.
This will suck if this is the Discovery Vid thats in the Limited Edition.

It's street dated for Saturday so most stores should already have them in stock.  But if your ordering online, yeah you're probably screwed, though you might get lucky if they ship it early. 

Everything I see has the street date as 8/31 (Sunday).

UPS delivers on Saturday, but not everyone would get it at the same time on Saturday.  Some stores might not get their shipment until close to close on Saturday.  It evens out the playing field.

Of course, they also might be releasing on Sunday (with a hold on reviews until release day) thinking that, given the holiday, many sites won't put their reviews online until Tuesday.  Of course, they'd only do that if they were worried that the game wasn't any good...

The game been in the store since Monday, some more trickled in on Tue, and Wed. All building up to this Sunday release date. More importantly I saw a box in the back while talking to the Assistant Manager "Warning don't open until 9/7/08" a EA branded tape covered the box.
