So did anyone pick this up? I ended up holding off after learning that I wouldn’t be able to download it without an add-on hard drive.
Don't think it's actually out yet, next Tuesday could be US release date and Thurs in Europe/UK due to the Bank Holiday weekend. Just picked it up at BestBuy.

I don't understand the average score here of 60 giving by GT. I get Overall 82 from what you have rated in each category. Was there a 22 point deduction for DRM?
At the bottom: NOTE: I am continuing to play this title and will revisit this review with supplemental updates as things progress over the coming weeks. Until that time, I’m overriding the score manually. I did see that. I figured it also pertained to the overall score that was displayed..

I don't know about you guys but one of the fun aspects for me in a SimCity is the transportation. Being able to create a city where my Sims can get around with out major bottlenecks on every block. As I watch this game near its final development almost every Video, pic and promotion shows a major city in a small space with Major Gridlock on every corner. How is this practical if emergency units will need to get from point a to b in a set time to fight crime, out fire, save lives. when there is noting but cars from light to light not going any where? Not to mention cities have outside Sims pouring into the already cramped city. There is no way a city will function if what your showing us is practical game play city. In the beta I tried to avoid building city blocks as much as possible to avoid this and focused on long roads with as little intersections as possible to avoid this mas buildup of cars. Which I must add is not my idea of an actual city planed. I trust Maxis will fix this issue, maybe limit the traffic pouring into the city and\or add a micro management for stop light to move a stretch of road at a time to get the city moving.

Why didn't it work under XP? Was your machine below spec? Make sure you get all the latest patches. My understanding is that they really reinvigorated the game. -Autistic Angel I exceeded the recommended spec the game just had major issue on release day I did contemplate updating but I am actually scared to mess with it since its actually working as is right now.

You've clearly not met Origin's mentally disabled cousin, uPlay.
uPlay makes Origins look good. Correction uPlay make Origins look like a well oiled machine. I must say in all fairness I cant tell you how many times I had to reinstall my OS in the early days of Steam. It wasn't until 2011 I put that back on my system and loves in now.

Thanks guys. 8-12hrs of gaming though. Wow! I have 3 gamer's beside my self at the house I figure they rotate 2-3 hours each. I can only do that on my PC Civilization or Anno 2070 I'd play it safe for that first week to err on the side of caution. So I should avoid letter box programming for the first week or so and then I should be fine? better yet calibrate it properly with a DVD or Blu-ray made for such purpose - and you'll be fine). I will have to look for this, the sales person made it sound like it can only be professionally done and will take 3 hours to get it right. I can't even find a plasma tv around here; they're all LEDs now. I was drawn to the 720p plasmas that was between all to the 1080p LED\LCD TV's because they just showed a better picture. My stubbornness to purchase 720 the sale guy was able to find me a 1080 for under $600. signed sealed delivered.

I got myself a 50" LG Plasma TV (50PA6500) for Christmas. It has a great picture and sound however I was coursed by the sales person that this will be great for gaming. Now I am watching YouTube comparisons LCD vs Plasma and the term burn-in is constantly coming up against plasma TVs. It's dead even between it been a problem to its a problem of the past from all I have seen so far. Can anyone with knowledge of these types of TV's clarify if a gaming run 8-12hr cause burning in on my new TV? Or if burn-in is still a problem on plasma TV's? I can see games like GTA that have that constant map and so on been an issue.

I got the game due to the forum effect and I am loving it way more than I should be right now. I seriously need to be playing and finishing AC Revolutions before the 30th. I cant seem to figure out where and how you customize your squad colors, and how do you swap out for a particular squad member or a S.H.I.V?

2. 4 streams max. Period. Can be 4 HD, 4 SD, this doesn't matter, just a max of 4 channels going at the same time. Anything recording counts toward this, watching recorded TV does not. You can pause live TV on any box. You can be limited to less if your wire distance to the VRAD is too long and you can't train at the highest profile.
I just called ATT to cancel my installation and they put the tech manager on the phone who insist its 8 stream total. With my 5 tv streaming I can only record 3 shows while viewing TV but a max of 4 can be recorded. This will work. I would just hate for the tech to install then have to pull it out because its not so. That tech manager was very mistaken. I should clarify. The max number of unique live TV channels is 4 channels. It doesn't matter, assuming you're on the highest profile, HD vs SD. On lower profiles, you get less HD channels, but you're still limited to 4 "live TV" channels. For example, say you want to watch/record NBC, ABC, CBS and FOX at the same time. 1. You can watch NBC on one TV, ABC on one TV, CBS on one TV and FOX on one TV. On the 5th TV, you would have to watch recorded TV or the same channel as one of the other TVs. 2. You are recording NBC and ABC on the DVR. You can watch CBS on one TV and FOX on one TV. On the other 3 TVs, you would have to watch recorded TV or the same channel as one of the other TVs. 3. You are recording NBC, ABC, CBS, and FOX on the DVR. On all 5 TVs, you have to watch recorded TV or the same channel as is being recorded. For all of these, if someone wanted to watch Cartoon Network, they wouldn't be able to without someone changing from NBC, ABC, CBS or FOX to Cartoon Network. Here is AT&T's official explaination: http://www.att.com/esupport/article.jsp?sid=KB401042&title=Understanding+U-verse+TV+streams#fbid=mdidjeQRxJXThank you for that information. I canceled my install and only then did the person on the other end agread that I would no be a good fit for their service. They claim they are working on it and she also reported everyone else that I talked to for retraining. I was her 3rd call for the day with the same issue.

How many TV can be viewed with U-verse at the same time. I have 5 TV 2 of which are HD. Last time I tried U-verse when the HDTV were on the standard tv could not be viewed. With in a month U-verse was gone. So here I am faced with changing service again and me being with ATT wireless for 14 years, I want to give them a chance plus I like the every room DVR. Can I get some user input. HD quality compared to DTV? Number of simultaneous live TVs that can be viewed? Do the channel change when I hit the button? (people with DTV know what Iam talking about) Is the hardware reliable? Do the channel go out when it rains? kidding.
