Don't be so sure...Blizzard is at work on at least 2 other games outside of WoW and Ghost...or so the rumor goes.
I am pretty sure their next game will be a totally new one. New universe and all. While I would like to see a SC2, the expactations that game will have will never be attainable.
You know, I completely forgot about this game. However, they did cancel warcraft adventures and for all intents and purposes, that game was pretty much done. So canceling ghost wont come to any surprise. It really lost a lot of its cool points over the years. Things that seemed cool are almost a requirement. Oh well, it is a shame. Too bad we will never see another starcraft game.
I grew up on nintendo. But in reality the market is now almost console only. The games we will see on the PC is mmorpg's and WW2 FPS. Both are which extending their welcome.
I liked it, but I didn't go in expecting a full fledge 50+ hour deep RPG. I was expecting an action RPG and I got exactly that. I found it pretty fun and the story was midly amusing, but not terrible enough to make me not want to find out what was going on. The only bad thing was not enough side quests and not enough character development. Even for an action RPG it was very lite on the development side. Is it enough to warrant a purchase? I'd say for 20 bucks. Enough to warrant a rental? Sure if you have 20 hours to kill.
Yeah, its pretty much a WAY better game now. I love the new skill changes and the random quests appear to be working. I haven't spent much time with the new patch, maybe 5 hours. But I was thoroughly impressed and it felt like a totally new game. I can't wait for the free and retail expansion. Definitely going to get both.
It was awesome and i really hope they do make a sequel. Its a shame that gems like these never are well recieved. It happened with ICO and now rumors are surfacing we may never get a sequel to ICO as well.
